Position Overview

The Sr. Manager, Product Operations – EMEA, is responsible for driving the successful execution of new product development and launch strategies across the Europe, Middle East, and Africa region (EMEA). This role oversees end-to-end planning and coordination, ensuring timely and effective product introductions while managing system setup and integration within the company’s enterprise platforms. Partnering closely with cross-functional teams—including Global Product Development, Operations, Marketing, and Regional Leadership—the Sr. Manager ensures operational launch excellence, alignment to business objectives, and seamless execution of product initiatives to support growth and innovation in the EMEA market.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the product development lifecycle for new and existing products within the EMEA region, ensuring projects meet quality, cost, and timeline objectives.

  • Manage product launch planning, coordinating cross-functional stakeholders to ensure flawless execution and alignment with global and regional strategies.

  • Oversee system setup and data integrity within company enterprise systems including material master setup, sku creation, kitting setup (BOM/KOF) for website availability, regulatory compliance, and operational readiness.

  • Partner with Global Product and EMEA leadership teams to align product development and launch strategies to regional promotion calendar needs.

  • Monitor and support market commercialization meeting execution, monthly product readiness, and communication amongst cross-departmental teams when needed.

  • Establish annual goals for EMEA Product Operations team and reporting metrics to measure/track performance through the year.

  • Monitor and analyse launch performance, identifying process improvements and implementing best practices to enhance operational efficiency.

  • Own annual product performance review for individual skus and kits. Recommend actions to be taken related to continuing, revising, or retiring products linked to annual performance sales criteria.

  • Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to direct reports and project teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, high performance, and career development.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for EMEA product operations, ensuring clear communication and alignment with global counterparts.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field; advanced degree preferred.

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in product operations, product management, or supply chain, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

  • Proven track record of managing complex product launches across multiple markets or regions.

  • Strong understanding of enterprise systems (ERP, PLM, or related platforms) and system setup requirements.

  • Exceptional project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing at senior levels.

  • Knowledge of EMEA regulatory and compliance requirements related to product commercialization is highly desirable.

  • Fluent in English; additional European language(s) a plus.
