Sr Manager, Product Management

The Cboe Risk and Market Analytics (RMA) group seeks a Reference Data Product Manager to join our team. RMA provides derivatives valuation, risk analytic, and margin services that enable institutional clients to manage and report risk, improve hedging and investment strategies, and enhance execution quality.

This role focuses on reference data, a standardization of fundamental descriptive information pertaining to securities, supporting our analytic services in listed derivatives for global equities, indices, and futures. The Product Manager will gain a deep understanding of RMA reference data, including security identifiers and symbologies, corporate actions, dividends, and other equity and options static data to support analytics globally.

The Product Manager will partner with our Technology teams on the governance of reference data, increasing the quality and value of our reference data as both a business pillar, and a stand-alone revenue stream. Importantly this role will be both internal and external facing and partner with our sales team to identify strategic opportunities to productize reference data for our clients.

This is an opportunity to advance one’s knowledge of the derivatives markets, and to work with a team of people with deep experience in financial markets and computer science, committed to improving information in the financial markets.

Location: Belfast office (flex hybrid)

Responsibilities

• Stay current with industry trends in data content and delivery, understand customers’ current and future use cases
• Partner with Sales and Client Engagement teams to meet with clients, confirm needs, propose solutions, and get feedback on approaches to enhance the client experience
• Translate strategy into a product roadmap and lifecycle, focusing on features that can have the most impact for our data customers and business
• Lead product discovery, requirements definition, feature prioritization
• Manage end-to-end product development lifecycle

Qualifications

• 3+ years of product management experience in financial markets data for trading or risk management applications, with a demonstrated record of developing, launching, and expanding data products
• Ability to perform data analysis with SQL, scripting such as in Python and/or R, and apply data visualization tools is preferred
• Effective communication and presentation skills to work effectively with both technical and business side team participants.
• Bachelor’s Degree, ideally with some exposure to data analysis
