We are seeking a strategic, data-driven pricing leader to serve as Sr. Manager, Pricing Strategy. This role will shape and execute pricing strategies across retail and wholesale channels, helping the organization drive profitable growth, strengthen competitive positioning, and deliver meaningful value to the organization. The ideal candidate combines deep pricing expertise with strong business acumen, advanced analytical capability, and the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations.
This leader will oversee a team responsible for product strategy and retail pricing, customer strategy, and sales partnership initiatives that influence pricing behaviors across the business. Success in this role requires a balance of strategic vision, cross-functional leadership, and disciplined execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Pricing Strategy Development & Execution
- Develop holistic pricing strategies across channels (retail, wholesale) and product lines to achieve financial goals.
- Partner with Finance, Sales, Marketing, Merchandising, and Supply Chain to ensure pricing aligns with company objectives and operational realities.
- Drive pricing initiatives that balance profitability, competitiveness, and customer experience.
Team Leadership
- Manage and mentor a team of pricing professionals responsible for product strategy and retail pricing, customer strategy, sales partnership, and pricing behaviors.
- Foster collaboration, accountability, and professional development within the team.
Retail Pricing & Product Strategy
- Work closely with Merchandising and Sales teams to tailor pricing strategies to product lifecycle, channel, demand, and inventory considerations.
- Own pricing frameworks that support category growth, including promotional pricing, markdowns, and competitive benchmarking.
Customer Strategy
- Build and evolve pricing strategies at the customer and account level, supporting margin growth and customer value.
- Lead strategic pricing initiatives across key accounts and customer types, including wholesale.
- Establish discounting guidelines, margin thresholds, and deal structures aligned with customer segmentation and value.
Field Enablement & Sales Partnership
- Act as a strategic partner to the Sales organization, delivering tools, guidance, and support for pricing execution and adoption.
- Influence pricing behavior through clear communication, training, and performance feedback loops.
Executive Communication & Influence
- Present pricing strategies, performance insights, and recommendations to senior leadership with clarity and confidence.
- Build compelling, executive-ready presentations that synthesize complex analysis into actionable narratives.
- Act as a thought leader within cross-functional forums, influencing decisions at the highest levels of the organization.

Qualifications:
- 7–10 years of progressive experience in pricing strategy, revenue management, finance, category management, or related commercial roles.
- Strong pricing expertise, including margin management, competitive positioning, discount governance, customer segmentation, and promotional or lifecycle pricing.
- Advanced analytical and technical skills, including Excel and experience with SQL, BI platforms, pricing tools, or similar decision-support solutions.
- Ability to translate complex data, market trends, and business insights into clear pricing recommendations and executable strategies.
- Industry experience in automotive, heavy-duty truck parts, aftermarket distribution, retail, wholesale, or similarly complex product environments preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, and influencing skills with the ability to develop teams and partner across Sales, Finance, Merchandising, Product, Supply Chain, and executive stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Analytics, Supply Chain, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred.
