Job Overview
As the Sr. Manager of Portfolio & Growth Strategy for Prepaid Marketing, you will define the 4 P's strategy — Product, Price, Place, and Promotion — across our full brand portfolio: Metro by T-Mobile, T-Prepaid, Connect by T-Mobile, and Assurance Wireless. This is a high-visibility people leadership role at the center of how we reposition Prepaid for the next era of growth, partnering closely with Product and commercial teams as we build toward our long-range ambitions.
You will report directly to the VP of Prepaid Marketing and serve as a key strategic voice in shaping how we compete, differentiate, and win — driving both our annual plan delivery and the longer-horizon work of redefining the prepaid category. We are looking for a leader who operates at Director level and is ready to grow into one.

Job Responsibilities:

•  Own the 4 P's strategy across Metro, T-Prepaid, Connect, and Assurance Wireless — defining how we position each brand to win in their respective segments and white spaces.

•  Drive brand portfolio strategy and differentiation, identifying where we play, how we win, and what makes each brand meaningfully distinct in a competitive landscape.

•  Lead the development of rate plan and product portfolio strategy, working cross-functionally with the Rate Plan, Pricing & Offers team and commercial partners to build a differentiated and commercially sound offer architecture.

•  Partner with Corporate Strategy and cross-functional product teams to align portfolio roadmap to commercial strategy, ensuring product development is grounded in consumer insight, competitive intelligence, and P&L discipline.

•  Own white space identification and year-in growth planning — developing segment-level strategies that unlock new attack and defense opportunities and inform our long-range plan.

•  Build the value proposition and messaging architecture (MRDs, concept briefs) that serve as the strategic foundation for acquisition, retention, revenue generation and integrated marketing execution.

•  Partner with Corporate Strategy, Pricing & Analytics and internal Commercial Revenue teams on LRP investment strategy for the portfolio, including scenario modeling, driver-based growth assumptions, and ongoing performance management against in-year and long-range plans.

•  Serve as a senior thought partner to the VP, Prepaid Marketing and Prepaid Extended Leadership Team on competitive positioning, portfolio prioritization, and growth strategy.

•  Lead and develop a small, high-impact team — building clear charters, accountability, and a culture of excellence.

Education and Work Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 7 years of related work experience
OR a combination of education and experience deemed equivalent (Required)
  • 6+ years of progressive experience in brand strategy, portfolio management, product marketing, category management, or corporate strategy — ideally within a consumer-facing, high-velocity business.
  • Proven track record managing complex, multi-brand portfolios with P&L accountability and measurable growth outcomes.
  • Deep experience in 4 P's strategy development — with the ability to move fluidly between product positioning, pricing architecture, distribution strategy, and go-to-market planning.
  • Strong consumer insight orientation — able to translate research, competitive intelligence, and behavioral data into actionable strategies and differentiated value propositions.
  • Experience building long-range plans and investment strategies grounded in driver-based growth assumptions.
  • Highly collaborative cross-functional leader — comfortable influencing without authority across product, finance, marketing, and executive teams.
  • Strong communicator with experience presenting portfolio strategy and performance to senior leadership.
  • People leader with demonstrated ability to build, develop, and inspire teams.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and driving clarity — a builder's mentality with a bias for action.
  • Telecommunications or subscription-based consumer business experience preferred; prepaid or value segment experience a plus.
  • MBA preferred.
