Role Purpose and Summary
- Oversee the development and execution of the Project Management Office (PMO) to ensure the successful execution of strategic initiatives aligned with Vision Invest’s corporate strategy. Manage project portfolios, establish frameworks for effective project delivery, and ensure alignment with organizational objectives to drive long-term growth and operational excellence
Experience
- 10-12 years of relevant professional experience in managing complex, cross-functional projects and portfolios within the infrastructure, private equity, or finance industries with a minimum of 5 years in managerial capacity; Experience in strategy, strategic advisory, or strategy management consulting, preferably in finance-related or construction field is an added advantage
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or equivalent; MBA or advanced degree preferred
Key Responsibilities: Role Specific Technical Responsibilities
- Project & Portfolio Management
- Lead the development and execution of Vision Invest’s Project Management Office (PMO) strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and long-term vision
- Define and implement PMO governance frameworks, processes, and best practices across the organization
- Oversee the management of strategic projects and initiatives, ensuring timely delivery, resource allocation, and adherence to budgets
- Develop comprehensive project plans that translate strategic goals into actionable steps with clear milestones, KPIs, and performance metrics
- Ensure alignment between projects and the overall strategic direction of Vision Invest, collaborating closely with function leads to cascade corporate strategy across all levels
- Monitor and report on project performance, providing regular updates to the Management Committee and Board, including risk management and mitigation strategies
- Conduct periodic assessments to evaluate the progress of ongoing projects, suggesting corrective actions or adjustments where necessary
- Strategic Oversight & Execution
- Support the development of strategic initiatives and the translation of strategic plans into actionable project goals
- Conduct strategic scenario planning and support decision-making processes to ensure alignment with Vision Invest’s business objectives
- Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements in the execution of strategic initiatives, optimizing resource allocation, and delivery timelines
- Oversee the communication of key project progress, milestones, and outcomes to senior leadership, fostering transparency and alignment with corporate strategy
- Lead and contribute to key strategic planning sessions and annual strategy reviews, ensuring projects are integrated with corporate goals and future growth plans
- Provide project management expertise to senior leadership, portfolio companies, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategic objectives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure the successful delivery of high-impact projects
- Offer expert advisory services to portfolio companies on the execution of large-scale projects and strategic initiatives
- Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration across all project phases
