Description
The OMT PI Senior Manager is responsible for establishing and continuously improving the performance of the Process Integration and Yield Enhancement KPIs to achieve Best-in-Class performance. This role encompasses not only local responsibilities but also includes oversea activities related to the start-up and transfer of new technology products. Additionally, it involves providing technical support in collaboration with cross-functional departments and partners to achieve benchmark performances in Safety, TTMCY, TTQ, CT, and Cost. As a Senior Leader, you will participate in the selection, development, and maintenance of a high-value workforce, while also fostering technical and leadership growth. Furthermore, the PI Senior Manager will work closely with Technology Development, Operation Central Teams, and Network Business Partners to establish standards that meet Micron Goals.
Responsibilities
· Follow all safety and environmental protocols, as well as Fab Disciplines, to comply with regulations and proactively reduce incidents, thereby achieving company goals.
· Lead and engage the integration team for new technology transfer and the execution of derivative DIDs. Work closely with cross-functional teams on the process optimization to improve yield and efficiency through continuous improvement. Manage DRAM cross-site process flow and define clear and accurate process targets for inline and electrical product SPECs. Apply the Quality, Output, and Cost program in line with the business plan of Micron's expectations.
· As an NPI (New Product Introduction) Steward, you will coordinate the creation of "New Products" Travelers, reticle ordering, Q-time setup, Germ process, SPC setup, startup process conditions, and lead-lot plans. Also manage wafer shipment logistics between fabs, including swap lots and fab-to-fab offloads. Additionally, engage with the PDT team, Fab SIC, and QA to deliver qualified material on time, ensuring the correct BKM qual process. as well as managing multiple customer audits of NPI session.
· Adopt a Model-Based-Problem-Solving approach to boost domain knowledge and technical skills, while spotting innovation opportunities with strategic thinking. Conduct regular 1:1 conversation and skip-level communications to understand and support team needs to achieve business plan. Set realistic performance and development goals for you and your team members for annual performance reviews and develop a succession plan for this role and M1/Lead positions.
Requirements
· Demonstrates a growth mindset and leadership qualities by empowering the team, addressing problems proactively, communicating transparently, and owning responsibilities.
· Experience in DRAM process integration and advanced technology node knowledge, including process flows, structure, probe, and backend data, is preferred.
· Outstanding problem-solving abilities with Model-Based-Problem-Solving mindset for troubleshooting and reporting skills.
· Demonstrated ability to adapt to different roles and proactively handle extra responsibilities. Exhibited skill in effectively managing and prioritizing multiple challenge tasks.
· Skilled at building and maintaining relationships with customers and colleagues. Able to negotiate and influence effectively in cross-functional business engagements.
· Understanding the NPI (New Product Introduction) business process requires effective coordination of transfer and pilot run activities with cross-functional teams. This ensures timely and smooth execution of new products deployment.
Education
· Master's degree and above in an Engineering & Technical field (Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Physics or related fields), or equivalent experience is required.
