ROLE SUMMARY
As part of the Chief Marketing Organization the Sr. Manager Paid Search will be part of the Performance Marketing team. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the development of our approach to Paid Search across the Pfizer portfolio. This role requires a strategic thinker, as well as hands-on experience. You will be part of our newly created In-House team, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of creating and managing successful paid search campaigns, and a deep understanding of industry trends.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and analytics, to align paid search efforts with overall marketing objectives.
- Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive paid search strategies to drive qualified traffic, increase conversions, and revenue growth in alignment with business goals for multiple websites across the Pfizer portfolio.
- Conduct keyword research, ad copy creation, and bid management to optimize campaign performance and maximize ROI.
- Present and gain approval on new ad units or tactics for the portfolio through Pfizer's approval process
- Develop and deliver regular performance reports and insights to senior stakeholders, highlighting key metrics and recommending optimizations for ongoing improvement.
- Support the development of testing plans, hypothesis formulation, and experiment design to drive continuous improvement in campaign performance.
- Conduct in-depth research, competitor analysis, and audience targeting to identify opportunities and constant optimization.
- Manage day-to-day operations of paid search campaigns across multiple platforms, including Google, Bing, and other search engine marketing platforms.
- Review advanced bid strategies and budget optimizations approaches for maximum performance
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data sets to drive decision-making and optimization.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
QUALIFICATIONS
- BA/BS required
- 7+ years of agency or client-side Hands on Keyboard Search expertise (Healthcare experience preferred but not required)
- In-depth knowledge of paid search platforms, including Google Ads and Bing Ads
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Google Analytics or other analytics tools
- Experience with keyword research, ad copywriting, and landing page optimization
- Ability to manage budgets effectively and demonstrate a positive ROI
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team-based environment
- Strong communications skills, and ability to translate concepts for a wide variety of audiences
- Understanding of media measurement norms, evolving landscape, and industry standards
- Analytical skills and proficiency in Paid Search tools and analytics platforms

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $117,300.00 to $195,500.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
