Our operation is based in Arlington, TX and supports GM, playing a critical role in their inbound and outbound transportation network. This operation oversees end‑to‑end logistics execution, including dispatch coordination, driver management, material flow optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives to meet customer performance expectations.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Lead operational performance: Oversee daily transportation and logistics operations, ensuring alignment with customer KPIs, service expectations, and company objectives.
  • Manage and develop teams: Supervise, coach, and develop front‑line supervisors, dispatchers, and drivers to build a high‑performing, accountable workforce.
  • Drive customer satisfaction: Serve as a key point of contact for the customer, proactively communicating performance updates, addressing escalations, and building strong relationships.
  • Optimize material flow and network efficiency: Monitor inbound and outbound freight activity, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements to enhance on‑time delivery and throughput.
  • Ensure safety and compliance: Maintain a strong safety culture by enforcing company policies and DOT/OSHA regulations; lead investigations and corrective action plans when needed.
  • Strategic resource planning: Oversee labor, equipment, and scheduling strategies to maximize productivity, control costs, and meet fluctuating demand.
  • Problem resolution and escalation management: Lead resolution of complex operational challenges (delays, breakdowns, capacity issues), ensuring timely and effective corrective actions.
  • Analyze performance and drive continuous improvement: Track and evaluate KPIs, generate reports, and implement data‑driven initiatives to improve service, reduce cost, and increase efficiency.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with warehouse, transportation, and customer teams to align priorities and improve end‑to‑end supply chain execution.
The ideal candidate should possess:
  • 3–7+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, manufacturing, or distribution, with increasing leadership responsibility.
  • Prior leadership experience managing teams in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (not required).
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team‑building skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proven analytical and problem‑solving skills with a data‑driven mindset.
  • Ability to balance day‑to‑day execution with strategic planning and continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency with TMS systems, Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets, and performance dashboards.
  • Strong understanding of safety, compliance, and operational best practices.

Skills Required

  • 3-7+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, manufacturing, or distribution with increasing leadership responsibility
  • Prior leadership experience managing teams in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
