  • Map current and future-state processes and work through the operational details required to bring improvements to life.
  • Partner across Operations, Technology, Product, Finance, Legal, Client Services, and other functions to implement change.
  • Lead and develop team members responsible for executing operational improvement initiatives, providing clear direction, priorities, coaching, and accountability.
  • Coordinate requirements, workflow design, UAT, implementation readiness, training, and post-launch refinement.
  • Remove obstacles and drive decisions when improvement initiatives cross teams or functions.

What We’re Looking For

  • 8+ years of experience in Operational Excellence, continuous improvement, process improvement, operations, or business transformation in health care billing or insurance.
  • Demonstrated success improving complex operational processes from current-state assessment through implementation and measurable results.
  • Strong experience with process design, workflow improvement, root-cause analysis, and current-state/future-state mapping.
  • Experience translating business needs into requirements and partnering with Technology on systems, workflow, or automation solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience leading people or directing teams responsible for operational improvement, implementation, or transformation initiatives.
  • Ability to operate as a player-coach, personally working through complex issues while effectively directing and developing others.
  • Strong understanding of continuous-improvement methodologies and how to apply them in a practical operating environment.
  • Ability to take strategic direction and independently work through the details required to turn it into action.
  • Strong business judgment, critical thinking, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills.
