Job DescriptionEssential Functions:
Leading Network operations team
Managing all SLA/SLS/OLA for Network and Infrastructure Technology.
Delivery Management from Bangalore.
Knowledge Sharing in team Management
Security Champion, ensure all vulnerabilities are patched on time.
Incident, Problem (PBR), Change (CHG) tracking and timely resolution.
Work with Internal and external auditors. (SOX, RBI)
Team mentorship and grooming.
Implement and oversee business continuity and disaster recovery planning to ensure operational resilience
Develop and enforce network policies, procedures, and best practices for efficient and reliable network operations.
Coordinate with other IT departments and business units to ensure seamless integration and meet networking needs.
Oversee hiring and maintain technical staff levels to ensure adequate coverage
The role requires strong technical expertise, strategic planning skills, and leadership abilities to align network strategies with business objectives
Leadership Skills: Ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team of IT professionals
Team Leadership:
Managing, supervising, and mentoring network engineers, technicians, and administrators
•Ability to motivate and delegate tasks to team members, provide effective coaching, and manage priorities.
•Provide Systems Administration leadership to core Corporate IT Server Platforms, Network and Application.
•Support the development and incorporation of best practices and approaches into the company´s processes and methodologies.
•Participate in determination of root cause/solution analysis for service failure and support escalation.
•Lead system/server security remediation and ensure that the system and application are on up-to-date patch levels and conform to the security standard.
•Good in managing problem-solving skills with focus on troubleshooting issues in complex production environments
•Willing to learn new technologies and software, thinking out of the box, questioning the norm and innovative.
•Proficient knowledge in using tools for system and network monitoring
•Good written and verbal communication skills.
•Experience working with offshore and globally distributed teams.
Network Management:
Overseeing daily operations of network infrastructure, including LANs, WANs and wireless
•Good understanding of Cisco routing and switching
•knowledge of switching and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, LACP, Spanning Tree)
•knowledge of Cisco VPN networking (Firepower, ASA, IPSEC)
•knowledge of TCP/IP, MPLS, WAN, LAN and WLC based wireless networking
•knowledge for SASE solutions and Arista switching
•Knowledge of SD-WAN technologies, ideally Silver Peak.
•Knowledge automation tools, ideally SolarWinds and Catalyst Center.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
•8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications
•9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
•10+ years of relevant work experience with bachelor’s degree (Computer Science or equivalent), OR 8+ years of relevant work experience with master’s degree in (Computer Science or equivalent)
•Proven experience In Managing a team of minimum 5 engineers
•Microsoft, Cisco and relevant industry certifications will be preferred.
