Principle Accountabilities:
Deliver solutions through effective project management for the facilities capital and productivity pipelines for warehouse and transportation operations in North America.
- Lead capital projects from concept through completion utilizing effective project management excellence, organization, communication, and execution skills.
- Develop project scope, budget, and drive projects through capital approval process. Manage expectations with key stakeholders on project timelines and deliverables.
- Develop a strategic network of suppliers and lead meetings to develop the project scope and deliverables. Types of suppliers could involve engineering, construction, general contractors, IT, HVAC, MHE, racking, security, automation, and new technology.
- Manage supplier bidding and negotiations, project financials, purchase orders and invoicing, forecasting, and budgeting. Manage annual warehouse capital budget in excess of $20mm.
- Execute projects, manage construction, and lead startup activities. Coordinate and have good communication with contractors and site personnel.
- Present progress updates to senior leadership through good communication and presentation skills.
- Manage contractor direct reports through effective management and development skills.
Explore and development new technologies, processes, and infrastructure projects that drive operational and financial KPI enablement, automation, simplification, and cost reduction.
- Lead and execute the automation and technology agenda through expert knowledge in technology, automation, new development, and digitization. Explore potential projects through concepting, savings stream identification, business case development, funding approval, execution, and startup.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in equipment, LMS, WMS, TMS, and YMS systems and how they integrate with operational processes to be able to identify gaps and new technology solutions.
- Develop strategic vendor partnerships, conducting new technology searches, and leading initiatives to unlock new technical platforms and processes.
Lead process improvement projects through our productivity program (Champions), value stream mapping, and process review sessions with internal and external partners for warehouse and transportation carriers.
- Utilize brainstorming, data analysis, and productivity techniques to uncover site and network opportunities for cost improvement projects.
- Lead onsite workshops and events to drive value with the 3PLs and KHC warehouses.
- Analyze data trends, financial results, and other opportunities and build framework to turn into projects with executable actions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required
- Supply Chain/Operations Management/Engineering preferred
- Prefer 7+ years of applicable experience; including warehouse, transportation, operations, and technical experience
- Proficiency of Kraft Heinz warehouse policies and ways of working preferred
- Strong project management skills
- Finances and budgeting
- Execute the right actions to manage schedules and meet deadlines
- Good communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)
- Short and long-term planning and time management
- Ability to work cross-functionally and work with outside vendors
- Influence and work through others
- Can shift focus to new priorities with ease and little guidance
- Autonomously work with little oversight
- Familiarity and experience with facilities capital equipment, docks, buildings, construction, ammonia refrigeration systems a plus
- Familiarity and experience with automation, technology, and digitization a plus
- Travel Required 10%-30%

New Hire Base Salary Range:
$118,400.00 - $148,000.00
Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors
