What is the opportunity?
This role participates in and leads some of the execution of the Wealth Management Technology & Solutions (WMTS) Operational Risk Annual Plan and execution of operational risk management (ORM) and IT Risk management within WMTS. The role is also responsible for participating in planning and managing Operational Risk Management programs and processes as they flow across WMTS.
Individual contributor with strong understanding of risk management concepts, specifically exposure reporting, providing risk reporting services to: application development, support teams and the Wealth Management Business. Services provided by the broader team cover IT & operational risk analysis, risk & compliance exposure reporting, risk awareness & advisory, and regulatory response.
What will you do?
- Lead delivery of periodic reporting for WMTS global, regional risk profiles and key initiatives
- Work with partners across WMTS to create and maintain automated risk insights dashboards
- Understand in detail current RBC Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and assist in definition of new indicators to address gaps where required
- Monitor indicators to ensure they are within risk appetite/tolerance and escalate before indicators raise above these thresholds
- Backup Operational Risk Leads by executing Operational Risk Event and Integrated Risk Profile reviews as required
Must-have
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office suite. Specifically Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Expert knowledge of data analytic tools (e.g. Tableau and PowerBI)
- Strong knowledge in IT and operational risk management processes, methods and tools
- Strong communication (verbal and written) skills
- CRISC
Nice-to-have
- CISSP or demonstrable knowledge
- Knowledge of GRC tools (e.g. ServiceNow, Archer)
- Vendor management
