This role is a Hybrid Role: Employees are expected to work from our New York City office 3 days per week and may work remotely the remaining days
Responsibilities:
Global PR Responsibilities
- Assist in developing, supervising and implementing Global PR campaigns (launch and maintenance) that support Elizabeth Arden’s business objectives.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (licensors, sales, marketing, creative, legal) to develop and gain alignment on holistic PR programs that drive media momentum, consumer brand awareness, and sales in priority national and regional markets.
- Lead the creation of global PR Toolkits to cascade to local markets
- Manage PR cadence calendar, communication and asset rollout to Global markets
- Work with the Director to oversee the planning and implementation of international press events.
- Support in the relationship management of licensors and talent US PR Responsibilities.
- Plan and maintain the annual portfolio budget.
- Work with Global agency to oversee accuracy and maintain departmental standards for all PR reporting documents.
- Work with Global marketing and legal teams to get approval on public-facing PR documents, such as press releases, fact sheets, and FAQs.
- Help with ongoing PR requests and provide guidance to local markets
Influencer Marketing Responsibilities
- Develops global influencer strategy that includes influencer approach, concept, and cohorts that are strategically informed and conceptually creative, designed to communicate brand and product stories that utilize influencer authenticity.
- Works with the social team to align efforts on activation, influencer content co-creation, sharing UGC, and capitalizing on social strategy.
- Identifies potential influencers directly and in collaboration with partners.
- Performs influencer outreach to potential influencers to engage and discuss opportunities and contract negotiations.
- Manages existing influencer relationships through periodic engagement, Q&A, and dialog on potential opportunities.
- Handles communications with influencers and partners to plan, schedule, execute, and measure influencer programs.
- Defines and manages performance metrics for influencers programmatically and on a campaign basis.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in the Public Relations field (including beauty industry experience)
- Bachelor’s degree (Communications or English majors preferred, but not required)
- Must have good relationships with the national media and the beauty influencer community.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be confident in presenting and actively participating in meetings.
- Must be a strong writer.
- Strong team player who works well with others
- Superior organizational and follow-up skills, good interpersonal relationship skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to adapt quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to prioritize and meet changing deadlines.
- Understand how to prioritize and manage workload.
- Must be proactive and able to see the big picture while remaining detail-oriented.
- Entrepreneurial spirit to continually seek out efficiencies.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and social media platforms

The base pay range for this position is $130,000 - $155,000 / year; however base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and geographic location. Certain positions may also be eligible for short-term incentives as part of total compensation.
Employees (and their families) are eligible for medical, dental, and vision benefits. Employees are covered by the company-paid basic life insurance policy and company-paid short-term disability insurance (the benefit commences upon hire and allows for a portion of base salary for up to 26 weeks if you are disabled). Other benefits offered to employees include but are not limited to the following: long-term disability, supplemental life insurances, flexible spending accounts, critical illness insurance, group legal, identity theft protection, etc. Employees are also able to enroll in our 401k Retirement Savings Plan.
Employees will also receive 3 weeks of vacation, pro-rated based on date of hire for the 1st year of employment and twelve paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Vacation will depend on role.
