Position Summary:

The Regional IT Leader for Identity and Access Management (IAM) will be responsible for overseeing the IAM functions across the region. They will lead a team of IT professionals to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of global and regional core IT services, with a focus on maintaining robust security protocols and access management systems. They will also be a Regional IT Leader for other teams.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with SailPoint IDM platform and leading a team that maintains and develops software solutions to address various IAM business challenges, including system provisioning, authentication, authorization, access attestation, role management, people data APIs, and new self-service solutions.

The ideal candidate will understand technology’s intersection with the business and will work in an environment that is collaborative, innovative, fun, and build relationships with stakeholders along the way.

Responsibilities:

  • Establishes and manages department and individual resource goals. Oversees implementation of near-term and long-term goals and objectives to achieve the successful outcome of the team.
  • Collaborate closely with senior team members to design and develop Identity and Access Management extensions and customization, as well as various tools and technologies
  • Oversees the performance management and development process for assigned IT team members and performs performance management duties, development planning and coaching for direct reports.
  • Ensures that team activities operate within the policies and procedures of the global IT organization. Evaluates and anticipates staffing needs. Recruits, interviews, and selects well-qualified staff.
  • Builds and enables a team who establish effective and trusting working relationships with all their business and IT partners.
  • Manages resource availability to continuously support the business. Identifies area for improvement. Develops an improvement program and monitors the implementation to increase process efficiency and improve service delivery.
  • Establishes and maintains the overall work cadence and, in partnership with IT leadership, ensures performance and outcomes strive for excellence in delivery and customer experience.
  • Communicates with clients and other stakeholders to gain community support for projects and solicits input for continuous improvement.
  • Ensures adherence to company policies and procedures and compliance responsibilities. Also ensures data quality, adherence to Global IT security guidelines, and other risk-related metrics for self and members of the team.
  • Provides escalation path for project issues, and guides team to resolution through technical expertise, business knowledge, and negotiation skills.
  • Manages and monitors a queue of issues and changes for team to ensure timely resolution; ensures stakeholders are updated regularly on progress.
  • Regularly communicates task statuses, open issues, new priorities, and challenges for reporting teams to impacted stakeholders and IT leadership.

Requirements:

  • Experience working as part of a multi-national company, especially regional management experience is strongly preferred and experience working as part of matrixed management organization.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable presenting ideas, solutions, and concepts to others
  • Flexibility to work occasional non-standard hours; international travel may be required.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience working in a regulated environment (SOX, FDA, HIPAA, etc.) a plus.
  • Ability to proactively collaborate by sharing information, managing knowledge across many technology domains, and championing solutions for broad adoption of IAM solutions.
  • A driven self-starter with a hands-on style, commendable organization, and time management skills.
  • Significant experience with a diverse set of technologies, including various programming languages, operating systems, storage, virtualization, cloud computing, platform support, and infrastructure automation.
  • Experience with developing/supporting IDM workflows, rules and integration logic using BeanShell and Java.
  • Worked on SailPoint REST, Active Directory, DBAT, SCIM, etc. connectors.
  • Experience with directories (Azure AD, Active Directory), SSO, Federation, delegated administration, API gateways.
  • Exposure in supporting web based IAM related protocols such as SAML, SCIM, OpenID, OAuth, federation concepts and technology such as ADFS and Okta IAM products.

Experience/Education:

  • Typically requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree with at least 8+ years experience leading IT Operations or equivalent work experience.
