Legend Biotech is seeking Sr. Manager, HR BT as part of the IT team based in Somerset, NJ.
Role Overview
The Senior Manager HR Business Technology Systems is a sole contributor who manages the lifecycle (development, deployment, evolution and on-going maintenance/support) of HR IT Systems and Business Processes. This position requires strong technical skills, project management skills, and HR domain knowledge. The Senior Manager HR Business Technology Systems will collaborate with HR leaders, IT leaders, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure that the HR IT Systems and Business Processes meet the needs of the organization and support its strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the lifecycle (development, deployment, evolution and on-going maintenance/support) of HR IT Systems and Business Processes, such as Paylocity, TCP, Workday, SumTotal, Greenhouse and other HR applications.
- Lead and coordinate the design, configuration, testing, implementation, and integration of HR IT Systems and Business Processes, ensuring alignment with HR and IT standards, policies, and best practices.
- Provide technical guidance, support, and training to HR users and IT staff on HR IT Systems and Business Processes, resolving issues and ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of HR IT Systems and Business Processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, enhancement, and innovation.
- Manage the relationship with HR IT vendors, negotiating contracts, managing service level agreements, and ensuring quality and timely delivery of products and services.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends and developments in HR IT Systems and Business Processes, conducting research, benchmarking, and recommending solutions that align with the organization's needs and goals.
- Prepare and maintain documentation, reports, and presentations on HR IT Systems and Business Processes, communicating status, progress, issues, and outcomes to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Manage the budget and resources for HR IT Systems and Business Processes, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance with financial and audit requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Human Resources, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in managing HR IT Systems and Business Processes, preferably in a large and complex organization.
- Expert knowledge of HR IT Systems and Business Processes, such as Paylocity, TCP, Workday, SumTotal, Greenhouse and other HR applications.
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in programming languages, databases, web development, cloud computing, and security.
- Excellent project management skills, including planning, organizing, coordinating, and delivering projects on time, on budget, and on scope.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences, and build and maintain positive relationships with HR leaders, IT leaders, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate, coach, and mentor staff and foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- High degree of professionalism, integrity, and ethics, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities, demands, and technologies, and work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
