What You Will Do
The following position is to join our RTX Corporate Tax team, based in the greater Hartford, CT, area:
Summary of Position
The RTX Corporate Tax Department is seeking a senior manager to support Global Mobility tax matters. The Global Mobility function is responsible for the management of the globally mobile workforce including international assignments, remote work, frequent business travelers, and international transfers. The senior manager for Global Mobility tax will be responsible for providing tax compliance and strategic planning advice arising from these activities.
What You Will Do
Provide strategic and operational tax management of the mobility program including tax equalization policy, and corporate and statutory tax compliance
Develop, implement, and govern mobility tax strategy worldwide
Partner with external tax vendor to administer global tax compliance for cross border assignments
Team with corporate tax functions, such as transfer pricing, international tax, and indirect tax, to ensure compliance globally
Support global audit requests and disclosures
Manage permanent establishment risk
Manage all tax compliance of Global Employment Organization
Govern intercompany and secondment agreements between entities supporting international assignments
Design and govern deployment methods for different mobility types that meet business needs and minimize risk
Develop best practices for key global tax processes such as short-term business travelers and remote workers
Partner with other departments such as Payroll; Controllership; Government Accounting; Finance; Legal, Contracts & Compliance; and Human Resources to ensure success of the mobility program
Ensure employee and corporate compliance with new tax legislative and regulatory requirements
Be a strategic partner and expert advisor to the business unit managers and HR leaders that enable and support international employee mobility
Identify opportunities for program and process enhancements to achieve greater consistency, compliance and operational improvement
Act as the escalation point for any tax issues and/or concerns raised by assignees, business managers and vendors
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires: A University Degree in Accounting, Business or Finance or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience
At least 7-10 years of international assignment taxation experience
International corporate tax experience specifically in relation to cross-border transactions related to globally mobile employees
Experience with permanent establishment issues and risk minimization
Tax equalization program management and technical knowledge to identify and address potential tax and social security issues and planning opportunities

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
