About the team and the role:

eBay, Inc. seeks Sr. Manager Global Markets FP&A in San Jose, CA

What you will accomplish:

Job Duties: Consolidate and review the financial close, the accurate forecasting/budgeting of GMV (gross merchandise value) and Revenues. Drive monthly triangulations modeling and analysis of the top line trends and actual performance. Continuously find opportunities to automate and streamline processes to reduce cycle time and churn in all operations planning processes. Partner with Regional Finance teams, Corporate FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis), and other teams to align and report monthly and quarterly performance. Build presentation content for business reviews. Support project-based initiatives to drive operating efficiencies across finance functions (Finance Transformation). Partial telecommuting permitted within a commutable distance.

What you will bring:

Minimum Requirements:  Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field plus five years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

Special Skill Requirements:

1.    Microsoft Excel (5 years)
2.    Microsoft PowerPoint (5 years)
3.    Financial and analytics systems (5 years)
4.    Microsoft Outlook (5 years)
5.    Revenue and Expense for a global ecommerce company (5 years). Skills include the ability to analyze financial reports, revenue, and other expenses to find ways for increasing profits and reducing costs, to interpret financial data to help the organization operate more efficiently
6.    Time management, prioritization, tracking multiple deadlines, adapting to business/organizational changes, and continuously improving productivity and efficiency (5 years)
7.    Experience impacting decision making at all levels of the organization using business acumen and problem solving skills (2 years)
8.    Working in a matrix organization with multiple partners with a high degree of complexity and ambiguity (5 years)
9.    Collaborating with global teams (5 years)

Salary: $140,800-188,000 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
