The Sr. Manager, GBS Bogota is a senior people leader responsible for overseeing HR Global Business Services operations in Bogotá, ensuring high‑quality, compliant, and scalable HR services that support employees and leaders across regions. This role plays a critical leadership role in driving service excellence, continuous improvement, and operational stability while enabling DePuy Synthes’ global workforce strategy. The position offers the opportunity to lead a large, diverse team, influence global HR service delivery, and shape the future of HR operations within a global MedTech organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and operational leadership for HR Global Business Services delivered from the Bogotá site, ensuring service quality, consistency, and compliance.
- Lead, develop, and engage people managers and teams, driving strong performance management, talent development, and succession planning.
- Partner with Global HR, Centers of Expertise, and regional stakeholders to align service delivery with business and employee needs.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging standardization, automation, and process optimization to improve efficiency and employee experience.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws, internal policies, data privacy, and governance requirements across HR services.
- Manage operational metrics, service level agreements (SLAs), risk controls, and financial performance for the Bogotá GBS operation.
- Lead change management initiatives supporting global HR transformations, system implementations, or organizational changes.
- Foster a culture of inclusion, accountability, and continuous learning aligned with the Johnson & Johnson Credo.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree required (Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field).
- Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
Experience and Skills
Required:
- Typically 8–10 years of progressive experience in HR operations, shared services, or Global Business Services.
- Proven experience leading people leaders and managing large, multi‑layered teams.
- Strong knowledge of HR service delivery models, employee lifecycle processes, and HR systems.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex operations, metrics, and service performance.
- Experience partnering with global stakeholders in a matrixed organization.
Preferred:
- Experience working in a multinational or shared services environment.
- Exposure to HR transformation, automation, or digital enablement initiatives.
