As a Sr. Manager FP&A, Roundel Finance, you will become an expert in Target’s retail media network, Roundel. You will partner closely with Product Marketing and the Partner Solutions Group (PSG) to lead financial strategy, revenue planning, and forecasting for a key area of Roundel’s business.
In this role, you will:
Partner with Roundel's VP of Product Management and the Senior Director for Agency & Specialist teams.
Proactively identify trends, risks, opportunities, and key financial priorities to key stakeholders, using data-driven insights to influence decision-making.
Lead top-down analytics for Roundel’s product suite (Target Product Ads, O&O Display, etc.) to uncover revenue insights, conduct variance analysis, and use strong storytelling skills to clearly communicate business performance drivers.
Develop and refine driver-based models across all relevant Roundel product channels, using these models as inputs into annual and long-range planning.
Support business case development for new service offerings and assess the financial impact on both Roundel and Target enterprise results.
Partner on core FP&A routines, including forecasting, annual planning, and long-range planning (LRP) through the product lens.
Collaborate closely with revenue and expense analysts on forecasting, planning, and headcount to deliver actionable insights for business and finance leaders.
Provide insight into expense pacing and engage on vendor cost management / contract negotiations.
You will help tell the Roundel story to senior leaders across Target, focusing conversations on the most impactful insights and leveraging past results to shape future outcomes. A successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills, accountability, agility in navigating dynamic business conditions, and strong organizational and process management skills to handle recurring FP&A routines.
About You:
Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience in Finance or a business-related field (MBA preferred but not required).
6+ years of finance and business experience.
Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with a team-oriented mindset.
Recognized as a credible thought leader.
Entrepreneurial spirit with strong analytical, decision-making, project management, planning, and organizational abilities.
This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
