Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineering professional to lead the design, implementation, and operations of the enterprise network infrastructure that supports global business operations. This role ensures reliable, secure, and scalable connectivity across corporate offices, data centers, and cloud environments. The position combines strategic planning with hands-on technical oversight to drive network modernization, resilience, and performance.

Responsibilities:

1. Network Operations & Architecture:

  • Lead the datacenter network operation cycle, including architecture, operations, troubleshooting, and monitoring.
  • Manage network WAN connectivity, including ISP relationships, BGP peering, and private connections.
  • Plan and oversee changes to the production network, including hardware and software upgrades.
  • Evaluate and recommend new solutions, hardware, and technologies for integration.

2. Team Leadership & Mentorship:

  • Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to network engineers on the team.
  • Set priorities, delegate tasks, and ensure adherence to best practices and operational standards.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.

3. Monitoring & Compliance:

  • Oversee implementation and operation of network monitoring solutions to ensure reliability and performance.
  • Support compliance and security initiatives in partnership with the Security department.
  • Ensure adherence to security policies and proactive mitigation of risks.

4. Branch Office & User Support:

  • Ensure the operation and support of branch office networks, including LAN, wireless, and remote access.
  • Act as an escalation point for complex issues and critical incidents.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation and handle after-hours support as needed.

5. Day-to-Day Operations:

  • Perform and oversee daily network operations and troubleshooting to maintain availability and performance.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of eight (8) years of progressive experience in network engineering and architecture within a large enterprise environment.
  • Three (3) years of leadership experience managing network engineering teams preferred, though strong Senior Network Engineers ready to move into a Senior Manager role are encouraged to apply.
  • Expert level knowledge of BGP and OSPF
  • Demonstrated expertise with Fortinet and Cisco products, including configuration, management, and optimization of FortiGate firewalls, Cisco Catalyst routers & switches, and Cisco Nexus switches
  • Experience with AWS cloud networking architectures and multi-region inspection is desired
  • Hands-on experience with a global workforce and remote access VPN connectivity
  • Familiarity with automation tools (g., Ansible, Python) and network monitoring platforms
  • Strong preference for Cisco professional certifications (CCNP/CCIE)
  • May require off-hours participation for critical maintenance or incident response activities.
  • Occasional travel (10%) to data centers and domestic/international offices
