·        Represent EMEA priorities in global forums and ensure that global standards and roadmaps are adopted appropriately, with regional requirements and trade-offs made transparent.

Technology Ecosystem and Architecture

·        Provide end-to-end oversight of the EMEA Deliver technology ecosystem, including ERP, WMS, WCS/WES, TMS, warehouse automation, transportation, labelling, visibility, data and analytics, and internal and external integrations.

·        Partner with enterprise and solution architects to define target-state architecture, reduce fragmentation and technical debt, and ensure secure, scalable and supportable integration patterns.

·        Ensure roadmap alignment across transactional platforms, warehouse execution and control layers, automation equipment, data platforms, partner connectivity and related ecosystem services.

Operational Reliability and Lifecycle Ownership

·        Own technology service health and lifecycle performance across the regional Deliver landscape, including availability, resilience, supportability, capacity, obsolescence, cybersecurity, compliance and disaster-recovery readiness.

Transformation and Business Continuity

·        Lead technology delivery for major network, ERP, warehouse, automation, separation and logistics-transformation programmes, coordinating dependencies across regional, Business Unit and global teams.

·        Embed business continuity, cutover readiness, operational resilience and contingency planning into transformation design and execution.

·        Balance pace of change with safe operations, regulatory compliance and customer service continuity, ensuring that readiness and go-live decisions are evidence-based.

Leadership and Stakeholder Partnership

·        Lead and develop a high-performing team and partner network with clear goals, accountability, technical depth and a strong customer and business value orientation.

·        Influence senior business and technology stakeholders across a complex matrix, communicating choices, risks, investment needs and outcomes clearly.

·        Promote simplification, standardisation, reuse, data-driven decisions and responsible adoption of automation and AI-enabled capabilities.

Measurable Success Outcomes

·        An approved and actively governed EMEA Deliver technology roadmap aligned to DePuy Synthes, regional and global priorities.

·        Improved availability, resilience, cybersecurity, compliance and lifecycle health across business-critical logistics platforms and integrations.

·        Transformation milestones delivered to agreed scope, schedule and budget, with business continuity protected through transition and cutover.

·        Portfolio investments supported by transparent financials, prioritisation decisions, benefit baselines and tracked value realisation.

·        Reduced fragmentation, avoidable technical debt and duplication through architecture alignment, platform standardisation and reusable integration patterns.
