Senior Manager, EDT Product Manager, Product Lifecycle Management
This Product Manager, Product Lifecycle Management, owns the end-to-end lifecycle of the PLM product portfolio supporting Research and Development and the broader product innovation ecosystem. This role translates customer needs, business goals, and regulatory expectations into a clear product vision, roadmap, and measurable outcomes that advance design control, change management, global product data governance, and digital thread capabilities. The Product Manager will operate with a “mini-CEO” mindset—customer-obsessed, data-driven, and accountable for decisions, trade-offs, value realization, adoption, total cost of ownership, and delivery results.
Key responsibilities include:
- Define and execute the global Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) product vision, strategy, and roadmap, aligning business objectives, manufacturing requirements, regulatory expectations, and industry best practices.
- Serve as the Product Owner and subject matter expert for PTC Windchill, driving capabilities across product data management, engineering change management, BOM management, document control, workflows, and lifecycle governance.
- Partner with stakeholders across R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Digital Technology to translate business needs into scalable, value-driven PLM solutions.
- Own and prioritize the PLM product backlog, balancing business value, technical feasibility, compliance requirements, and operational priorities to maximize product impact.
- Develop business cases, roadmap recommendations, and delivery plans while driving informed trade-off decisions across scope, timelines, risk, and value realization.
- Establish and maintain governance standards for PLM solution architecture, data quality, configuration management, release management, and platform support in a regulated MedTech environment.
- Ensure PLM capabilities support global compliance requirements, including design controls, quality management, audit readiness, traceability, validation, and regulatory standards.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance business processes, user experience, platform adoption, operational efficiency, and data quality through innovative technology solutions.
- Lead stakeholder engagement, change management, communication, and adoption initiatives to ensure successful delivery and long-term business value from PLM investments.
- Collaborate with external vendors, implementation partners, and cross-functional teams while leveraging industry trends, digital thread capabilities, and ERP integrations to advance PLM strategy and innovation.
What you need:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; certifications in Product Management, Agile, PTC Windchill, SAP, or Quality Systems are highly desirable
- 15 years of experience in enterprise application delivery, product management, platform ownership, or technology leadership, with significant exposure to PLM, R&D, engineering, quality, or regulated product development environments.
- Deep expertise in PTC Windchill and Product Lifecycle Management processes, including product data management, engineering change control, BOM management, workflow, and lifecycle governance.
- Proven experience integrating PLM platforms with ERP systems such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, Oracle EBS, or JDE to support end-to-end product development and manufacturing processes.
- Strong product leadership skills with the ability to define strategy, prioritize roadmaps and backlogs, drive execution, and deliver measurable business value.
- Solid understanding of MedTech/Life Sciences regulations, including design controls, quality systems, validation, traceability, audit readiness, and global compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated success delivering large-scale technology transformations while balancing business outcomes, user experience, technical feasibility, and regulatory compliance.
- Strategic mindset with experience managing vendors and partners, leveraging product analytics, and identifying emerging industry trends to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise application delivery, product management, platform ownership, or technology leadership within regulated industries
- Deep expertise with Loftware Cloud and/or Loftware Cloud Clinical Trials
- Expertise in label design, content management, approval workflows, print management, audit trails, and validated environments
- Strong understanding of enterprise labeling ecosystems and integrations with ERP, PLM, MES, WMS, clinical supply, and master data platforms
- Knowledge of BarTender, NiceLabel, or Robar labeling solutions
- Experience with backlog prioritization, requirements definition, release planning, solution design, and rapid prototyping
- Understanding of MedTech, life sciences, or other regulated environments, including GxP, UDI, MDR, validation, electronic records and signatures, traceability, and compliance requirements
- Ability to lead complex global technology initiatives, influence cross-functional stakeholders, manage vendor partnerships, and balance business value, user experience, technical feasibility, and compliance
