Sr. Manager, eCommerce

The Senior eCommerce Manager is responsible for leading channel growth, pricing strategy, inventory lifecycle management, and client performance across all eCommerce platforms. This role drives revenue, margin optimization, and inventory recovery while managing a high-performing team and partnering cross-functionally with IT, Marketing, Client Solutions, Finance, and Operations.

This position balances strategic planning with strong operational execution and team leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute a multi‑channel eCommerce strategy to drive revenue growth, margin optimization, and inventory recovery across D2C and marketplace platforms. 
• Own pricing strategy, markdown cadence, and promotional alignment to balance sell‑through velocity with margin protection across inventory lifecycle stages. 
• Manage inventory allocation and lifecycle performance across channels, developing aging mitigation and recovery strategies by category, client, and age bucket. 
• Serve as senior client partner, delivering performance insights, scalable solutions, and growth recommendations aligned with client objectives.  
• Lead, develop, and scale a high‑performing eCommerce team with clear KPIs, accountability standards, and succession planning. 
• Own financial performance including forecasting, budgeting, ROI tracking, and margin management, providing regular reporting to leadership. 
• Partner cross‑functionally with IT, Marketing, Finance, Client Solutions, and Operations to drive system enhancements, automation, and scalable growth initiatives.

Supervisory Responsibilities: 

• People Manager: This position has direct supervisory responsibility for one or more employees, including performance management, coaching, development, and day‑to‑day oversight of work activities.

Qualifications

Education/ Experience:

• 6-8+ years of progressive eCommerce experience.
• Experience managing multi-channel marketplace environments with a minimum GMV of 60M+ a year.
• Strong background in pricing strategy and inventory lifecycle management.

Skills and Ability: 

• Proven team leadership experience.
• Strong analytical and financial acumen.
• Excellent cross-functional communication skills.

Work Conditions/ Physical Demands: 

• This position is performed in a remote, home office location. 

Travel:

• Occasional travel may be required for meetings, training, or business needs (up to 10%).

Pay & Benefits:

Compensation is determined by various factors such as location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as internal and external equity and organizational needs. Additionally, this role is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.

The salary range for this position is $128,300 to $160,400 annually.  The posted range reflects our national average range for the job. We may ultimately pay more or less than the published range based on the factors mentioned above. This range may be modified in the future.
