As a Sr Manager Customer Experience, you are responsible for managing key customer relationships to drive sales growth, customer retention, and increased purchasing with the company. This position supports customers’ business strategies by delivering high-level service, identifying revenue opportunities, and translating customer needs into sales and development initiatives.

Job Description
  • Full-Time, Hybrid Role

  • Location: Rancho Cordova, CA

You will contribute by:

  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key customers to create and implement best practices, grow sales, and increase purchase concentration, while maintaining strong customer advocacy.

  • Supporting customers’ business strategies by providing the highest level of service and developing solutions that enable revenue growth for both the customer and the company.

  • Driving business impact by building, developing, and scaling the existing team to generate growth and sales opportunities, while leading the team to be organized, aligned with, and accountable to company goals and focused on delivering the best possible support for customers.

  • Managing escalated customer relationships efficiently and effectively.

  • Developing strategic priorities and translating customer needs into development and sales opportunities for the company.

  • Proactively recommending enhancements to leadership to improve processes and support overall team objectives.

  • Monitoring and managing contract renewals, expansions, and the sales pipeline.

  • Managing business continuity events.

  • Traveling frequently to customer locations, approximately 40%.

We’re searching for candidates with:

  • Advanced knowledge of account and client relationship management.

  • Ability to communicate, present, and influence at multiple levels within an organization.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Comfort with challenges, ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and skill in engaging with and influencing others; strong problem-solving capabilities.

  • Motivation, goal orientation, persistence, and strong negotiation skills.

  • Wholesale distributor experience is a plus.

  • Sales leadership experience, including implementation and ongoing management of goal setting, accountability metrics, and pipeline management.

  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly.

  • Experience managing a team.

  • 7-10 years of relevant work experience in sales or customer development, with a track record of achieving objectives.
