Job Summary

The Senior Manager, Internal Communications & Engagement plays a key role in helping employees feel informed, connected, and aligned to where Church & Dwight is going and why it matters. This role leads enterprise-wide internal communications and engagement efforts that bring our values to life, strengthen leadership credibility, and support business priorities.

Serving as both a strategic advisor and hands-on leader, requiring both organized vision and execution. This role partners closely with senior leaders to deliver clear, timely, and meaningful communication experiences that connect employees to our purpose and to one another. The position includes one direct report.

Work Environment  

Hybrid: This is a hybrid role based in Ewing, NJ and requires in- person attendance on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, with remote work options on Mondays and Fridays. 

Role Accountabilities & Responsibilities

Internal Communications 

  • Lead and develop enterprise internal communications strategy, ensuring messages are clear, consistent, and aligned with Church & Dwight’s culture, values, and business priorities.

  • Develop and implement a proactive CEO communications strategy, including clear messaging, consistent cadence, and effective delivery across key stakeholders.

  • Plan and deliver companywide quarterly town halls that inform, engage, and connect employees.

  • Partner closely with the CEO and Executive Leadership Team (ELT) to shape agendas, narratives, and key messages.

  • Coordinate speakers, content, logistics, and technology in partnership with IT and external vendors.

  • Anticipate risks and opportunities through scenario planning and long-term communication planning.

  • Write quickly, accurately, and effectively in a Church & Dwight tone that is authentic, clear, and people centered.

  • Develop and maintain a proactive communications roadmap focused on what employees need to know, when they need to know it, and why it matters.

  • Maintain a high standard of accuracy and appropriate review for communications involving regulatory, legal, or disclosure-related matters.

Engagement & Change Enablement

  • Serve as a trusted subject matter expert on change enablement, partnering across teams on change strategy, stakeholder engagement, organizational readiness, leadership alignment, communications, training, and sustainment.

  • Translate engagement, listening, and feedback data into clear executive insights that support practical, actionable decisions.

  • Build scalable toolkits, messaging frameworks, and leader resources designed for ease of use and adoption.

  • Balance enterprise-wide consistency with flexibility to meet function-specific and localized needs.

  • Lead enterprise-wide cultural experiences and events that translate strategy and values into meaningful employee moments.

  • Oversee end-to-end delivery of engagement and culture initiatives, including vendor partnerships, timelines, and budget management—balancing experience quality with scalability.

Education & Experience

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications or a related field required.

  • 10+ years leading enterprise-wide internal communications strategy through execution working with both C-suite (CEO) and cross-functional key stakeholders required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working in a global organization leading internal communications is strongly preferred.

  • Experience managing engagement activities for both corporate and front-line workers (Manufacturing), employee resources groups, engagement survey infusing company and local culture is preferred.

  • Change management principles: understanding how change management applies to our internal communications and engagement activities.

  • PROSCI certified is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits 

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $130,200- $185,400. This position is also eligible for a bonus. 

As a Church & Dwight US employee, you (and eligible dependents, as applicable) will have access to medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid vacation and sick time, and Paid Parental Leave. U.S. employees are entitled to paid holidays, floating holidays, and vacation days starting in their first year of employment depending on hire date. You are also able to participate in our 401k retirement plan (with company match and profit-sharing) and Discounted Employee Stock Purchase Plan.   

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal pay parity.  Compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
