Job Summary:
The Senior Manager of Continuous Improvement will be responsible for leading our business in continuous improvement initiatives across all areas of the business including but not limited to supply chain, operations, productivity, quality, cost savings, etc. This role will have responsibility for multiple facilities across North America and will work closely with our plant managers and general managers on their site teams as well as the corporate team at HQ. The ideal candidate will possess experience in manufacturing, supply chain management, and proven results in delivering significant operational improvements. This individual should also exhibit strong leadership skills and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:• Lead the development and implementation of new process designs to improve efficiency, reduce waste and increase throughput.• Develops strategy and plan for each facility based upon analysis of current state and desired future state. • Manage the execution of plans to ensure they are implemented successfully and provide ongoing support to plants during this time.• Collaborates with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and other key departments to identify opportunities for improvement.• Provide guidance and coaching to Operations personnel to implement appropriate tools and techniques to solve problems and make necessary adjustments.• Work directly with Plants to develop strategies to meet or exceed established goals for safety, quality, service, and costs.• Directly manage the relationship between the Plant and outside resources such as consultants and vendors who provide services to the Plant.• Ensure compliance with all local, state, federal, and legal regulations.• Maintain high ethical standards in all dealings, both internal and external.
Qualifications:
Minimum five years of progressive supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment required.
Experience working in a food processing industry highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methods required.
Demonstrated success in driving cultural change and building capability within organizations.
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
Advanced computer skills required (Microsoft Office Suite).
Excellent problem-solving skills required.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build partnerships required.

New Hire Base Salary Range:
$118,400.00 - $148,000.00
Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors
