What You’ll Do:
- Build and enhance a comprehensive competitive intelligence framework to monitor market trends, competitive activities and other industry disruptions to identify strategic opportunities, potential threats and market gaps.
- Leverage an understanding of key personas, use cases, and value drivers for Coupa products to drive our integrated marketing strategy with clear, concise competitive positioning and messaging.
- Partner closely with our Global Sales and Customer Success teams to gather intelligence and implement enablement strategies.
- Directly influence our product roadmap and vision by sharing competitive insights with Product Management leadership.
- Evangelize the Coupa story by delivering compelling presentations at live and virtual events for internal and external audiences
- Identify ideal customers and opportunities for references, win stories and competitive feedback
What you will bring to Coupa:
- 5+ years of experience in B2B competitive intelligence including proven success in driving competitive messaging, positioning and sales enablement
- Ability to gather intelligence from research and data, present findings and decisions, influence stakeholders, and execute independently on initiatives
- Ability to work across organizational lines, command respect, and influence without authority
- Must be able to switch regularly and rapidly between strategy and execution
- Comfort and experience in presenting to diverse audiences, from small groups to large events, with the ability to engage, persuade, and communicate Coupa’s competitive differentiators effectively
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
- MBA a plus
- Experience with Salesforce.com, Tableau, Clozd, Crayon, Highspot
- Experience with Procurement or Finance SaaS solutions
