Seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cloud Operations Manager to lead and oversee our cloud infrastructure operations team. As a Sr. Manager of Cloud Operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of our cloud-based services. Need a strong background in cloud technologies, proven leadership experience, and a passion for optimizing cloud operations.

Responsibilities: 

  • Operational Leadership: Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the cloud infrastructure and solutions installation team, ensuring the continuous availability and performance of cloud services. 

  • Team Management: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of cloud operations professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence. 

  • Infrastructure Monitoring and Maintenance: Oversee the monitoring of cloud infrastructure performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues to maintain optimal service levels. 

  • Security and Compliance: Work closely with the security team to implement and enforce security measures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. 

  • Automation and Efficiency: Drive initiatives for automation and efficiency improvements in cloud operations, leveraging Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and other relevant technologies. 

  • Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Ensure comprehensive documentation of cloud architecture, processes, and configurations, and promote knowledge sharing within the team 

  • Capacity Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct capacity planning and scalability assessments, ensuring the infrastructure can support current and future business needs. 

  • Cost Management: Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure costs, identifying opportunities for cost savings without compromising performance or security. 

  • Incident Management: Develop and implement incident response procedures, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and minimizing impact on business operations. 

  • Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Develop and maintain robust disaster recovery and business continuity plans for cloud-based services. 

Basic Qualifications 

  • 7+ years of experience in cloud operations, with a focus on managing complex cloud environments, with minimum 4 years’ experience working with Azure. 

  • Extensive knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, and hands-on experience with cloud services, virtualization, and containerization technologies. 

  • Good working knowledge of Azure Policy and understanding of cloud governance. 

  • Significant experience working with storage technology such as NetApp and Azure cloud storage services. 

  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and automation tools. 

  • Experience with Kubernetes, automating its deployment and configuration (manifests/helm/Docker/etc.) 

  • Experience managing High Availability/Fault Tolerant Systems 

  • Experience with monitoring tools. 

  • Experience with Windows and Linux platforms 

  • Knowledge of security best practices and experience implementing security measures in cloud environments. 

  • Familiarity with incident response procedures and capacity planning. 

  • Proven leadership experience, with the ability to build and lead high-performing teams. 

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. 

  • Proficient at multitasking and proactive in work responsibilities 

  • Excellent troubleshooting, technical problem-solving skills, and decision-making abilities 

  • Certification in cloud technologies (e.g., Azure Administrator) is a plus. 

  • Working experience with JavaScript Frameworks (Angular), RESTful APIs, JSON and XML is a plus.
