The Senior Leader of Business Development – Networks & Cable is responsible for driving long-term, strategic growth across Tier-1 cable operators, network providers, data centers, OEMs and hyperscale cloud ecosystems. This role requires a proven senior leader who brings deep industry experience and the ability to help creatively design, develop and communicate strategic solutions based on prior, successful business development cycles at large, complex organizations.
This leader will leverage firsthand experience from senior-level roles at organizations in the OEMs, MSO, data center, telecommunications space and the ability to influence executive stakeholders, shape go-to-market strategies, and position the company as a strategic, value-driven partner.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and execute the Business Development strategy for the CTDI Networks & Cable Business Unit, which includes MSOs, Telecommunications Carriers, OEMs, and Data Center services providers
- Establish and maintain executive-level relationships with C-suite and senior leaders at Tier-1 customers and partners
- Translate prior proven implementations into scalable, repeatable solutions tailored to customer needs
- Identify and develop strategic growth opportunities across network infrastructure, broadband, data center services, and cloud-adjacent offerings
- Serve as executive sponsor for complex pursuits including large RFPs, multi-year agreements, and strategic partnerships
- Drive solution-based selling by aligning internal capabilities with customer challenges and long-term roadmaps
- Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, Finance, and Marketing to ensure executable, differentiated solutions
- Provide market intelligence, competitive insights, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership
- Influence internal investment decisions by clearly articulating ROI, risk, and growth potential
- Represent the company at industry events, executive briefings, and strategic partner engagements

Required Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in senior Business Development, Strategy, or Commercial leadership roles
- Direct experience with MSO, Tier-1 network providers, cable companies, OEM or hyperscale suppliers
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic solutions based on prior proven implementations
- Experience operating at the executive level within large, complex organizations
- Deep understanding of cable, network infrastructure, broadband, cloud, and hyperscale ecosystems
- Proven ability to influence C-suite stakeholders internally and externally
- Strong commercial acumen with experience structuring complex deals and partnerships
- Exceptional strategic thinking, communication, and executive presence
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading or sponsoring multi-year, multi-million-dollar agreements
- Background in network services, data centers, cloud infrastructure, or supply chain solutions
- MBA or advanced technical/business degree
- Established industry relationships within the Networks & Cable ecosystem
