The Sr. Manager, Business Applications will report to the Chief Information Officer. This individual will be responsible for all business applications at Accurate including Salesforce, HR systems, Oracle NetSuite and numerous other business applications that support sales, marketing, HR, finance and operations. He or she will work cross functionally across all the departments within Accurate as well as key partners including Engineering, Product, Business Applications and the Revenue teams. This individual plays a key role in the technology organization participating in strategic planning for their area, overseeing critical initiatives and ensuring the successful execution of our key priorities.

 

Responsibilities

  • Application Strategy & Planning
  • Responsible for ensuring the right technology and application stack is being deployed for the right business need.
  • Assist in the development of our application roadmap and oversee its execution
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to align software application plan with business goals and objectives
  • Keep abreast and updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure that our application footprint remains cutting-edge, scalable and stable
  • Identify opportunities for efficiency and cost savings
  • Establish process standards and metric targets
  • Application Software Operations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements for new projects and initiatives
  • Ensure projects and feature requests are delivered on time and successfully delivering on business outcomes
  • Develop and implement best practices, standards and procedures
  • Ensure adherence to security standards
  • Meet department OKR’s and metric targets
  • Application Reliability and Performance
  • Establish and maintain service level objectives (SLOs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) for key applications
  • Application Support:
  • Manage global support for business applications
  • Responsible for working with technical operations on application deployment
  • Vendor Management
  • Manage relationships with infrastructure vendors, ensuring timely delivery and quality of services
  • Evaluate vendor proposals, negotiate contracts and manage vendor performance
  • Team Leadership and Management
  • Lead and manage a global team of application developers and administrators
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the team
  • Define team goals, set performance expectations and conduct regular performance evaluations
  • Collaborate with other technology leaders and stakeholders to align application plans with overall technology strategy
  • Communicate effectively with leadership and provide regular updates on business application initiatives, challenges and accomplishments

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience in technology
  • Strong experience with Salesforce Sales & Service Cloud
  • Experience operating in a global environment
  • Knowledge of Workday and HR applications
  • General knowledge of SaaS business applications that increase worker productivity
  • Solid problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Ability to thrive in a role that is constantly changing to meet evolving demands.
  • Self-leader able to lead others and embrace unpredictable circumstances.
  • Detail oriented, with strong written and verbal communication
