Position Summary

The Senior Manager, Aetna B2B Provider Marketing Strategy, will work with the Executive Director to execute effective marketing plans for improved provider experience. As Sr. Manager, you will act as a thought leader, a trusted advisor to drive strategic decisions about our marketing strategy and marketing mix across platforms, local presence, and activation teams. You must be an innovator and a change agent with a passion for B2B client-centric, needs-based marketing. You will be responsible for the creation, development and delivery of data-driven marketing programs and campaigns that will strengthen provider experience and connections.  

As Senior Manager, you are exploring new provider marketing channels, supporting differentiating positioning and content, and driving decisions about our marketing strategy and marketing mix across platforms, local presence, and activation teams. You must be an innovator and a change agent with a passion for B2B client-centric, needs-based marketing. You will be responsible for the creation, development and delivery of data-driven marketing programs and campaigns.  

The Senior Manager and team members will collaborate cross-functionally with internal and external partners to bring our B2B strategies to life through impactful marketing content, assets and programs that improve provider and member experience. 

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing
  • Strong strategic, critical thinking, and conceptual abilities; ability to contribute to strategic planning discussions.
  • Experience in marketing, brand management, agency management, providing well-rounded perspective on strategic marketing initiatives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including sharing ideas and information across diverse audiences and creating compelling presentations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in health insurance/healthcare
  • Proven track record of helping to develop and execute successful marketing strategies and campaigns
  • Knowledge of market research and consumer/customer insights
  • Experience with marketing data and analytics
  • Adept execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple priorities at the same time
  • Ability to influence others, work effectively in a matrix environment, and interact with all levels of the organization

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism or related field or equivalent experience (4 years)

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$82,940.00 - $182,549.00


This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
