Director, Global Logistics
The Senior Logistics Analyst plays a key role in driving smarter, more efficient transportation by turning logistics data into actionable insights, improving carrier performance, and identifying opportunities to reduce costs and strengthen service across the freight network.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide issue‑resolution and freight claim guidance for shipments, with a primary focus on LTL and truckload movements.
- Support Business Units with FTL and expedite spot‑bid requests as needed.
- Maintain foundational awareness of small‑parcel and ocean logistics while prioritizing LTL and FTL network performance and execution.
- Generate and analyze reporting to monitor service performance, transit times, and cost trends.
- Conduct analysis and compile transportation statistics to support optimization and strategic decision-making.
- Provide regular exception reporting to highlight and address logistics issues.
- Manage LTL and truckload carrier relationships, ensuring adherence to SOPs, KPI development and monitoring, and leading carrier performance reviews (QBRs/CBRs).
- Lead lane analysis, routing guide compliance, and carrier negotiations to secure competitive LTL rates and improve service outcomes.
- Own and continuously improve TMS functionality, including rating, routing, tendering, and freight audit processes, driving efficiency, accuracy, and system optimization through ongoing analysis and enhancements.
- Process and review LTL and FTL freight audit and pay activities, ensuring invoice accuracy and resolution of discrepancies.
- Support commodity team in management of supplier crises to ensure supply continuity.
- Be a student of learning and leverage AI to achieve superior results.
- Develop strong cross-functional and business unit relationships.

RequirementsEDUCATION REQUIREMENT(S):
- Bachelor’s degree desired in supply chain or related field, or equivalent working experience
- An MBA is advantageous but not essential
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT(S):
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in Logistics Management including 3PL, LTL, TL
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Experience utilizing SMC3 programs and ClassIT+
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Skills Required

- Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) including rating, routing, tendering, freight audit processes
