You will report directly to our Sr. Director Engineering, and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule.

The Sr learning specialist partners with engineering leaders and subject matter experts to design, develop, and deliver effective learning solutions that improve performance and enable strategic priorities. This posting is for two positions, one to manage engineering development programs execution and the other one to manage the Knowledge Capture and Transfer strategy and execution. 

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage engineering development programs and work with engineering leaders to develop content aligned to engineering development strategy.
  • Conduct learning needs analysis and performance analysis with stakeholders
  • Develop instructor‑led, virtual, and digital learning assets (eLearning, job aids, simulations, assessments)
  • Lead Knowledge capture and transfer strategy to support engineering continuity in support of projects, strategies, and attrition.
  • Translate complex technical or business content into clear, engaging learning experiences
  • Apply adult learning theory, learning science, and accessibility standards
  • Partner with SMEs, facilitators, and program managers throughout the design lifecycle
  • Pilot, evaluate, and continuously improve learning solutions using data and feedback
Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 7 years of experience designing corporate learning solutions
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design methodologies
  • Ability to analyze training needs and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate, Rise)
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Creativity and innovation in designing engaging learning experiences.
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies and trends in instructional design
