Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

We are looking for a Sr. Learning & Development Specialist to support our fast-growing organization in Taiwan. In this role, you will develop and engage top semiconductor talent through impactful learning programs, career development initiatives, onboarding experiences, and AI-enabled learning solutions that accelerate employee growth and success.

 

This role is ideal for experienced HR professionals as well as semiconductor technical professionals seeking to transition into training, coaching and talent development.

 

Learning Facilitation & Program Delivery

  • Facilitate instructor-led, virtual, and blended learning programs for highly technical semiconductor audiences.
  • Partner with service, engineering, and HR teams to develop learning roadmaps for Service Engineers, Application Engineers, and other technical professionals.
  • Source, evaluate, and manage external training providers and learning partners to address KLA Taiwan's business and development needs.
  • Coordinate end-to-end employee and manager learning program delivery, including scheduling, communications, logistics, learner support, and vendor management.
  • Facilitate workshops, seminars, and development programs covering professional skills, productivity, team development, and career growth.
  • Design and deliver customized team development programs for service, applications, installation, and engineering teams, including communication, collaboration, problem solving, and team effectiveness.

New Hire Development & Onboarding

  • Coordinate new hire orientation programs and follow-up onboarding sessions to support successful integration into KLA.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to support new hire development, onboarding roadmaps, and performance goal setting.
  • Enhance the new hire experience through continuous improvement of onboarding content, learning resources, and engagement activities.
  • Design, facilitate, and develop early-career development programs focused on professional, technical, and essential workplace skills.

Learning Operations & Innovation

  • Coordinate local learning operations, including training records, participation tracking, and reporting.
  • Maintain accurate HR data, attendance tracking, reporting, and compliance with corporate learning processes.
  • Analyze learning feedback, participation data, and program metrics.
  • Explore and implement AI-enabled learning tools, analytics, and digital learning solutions to enhance learner experience and operational effectiveness.
  • Leveraging AI tools and technology to improve learning processes, reporting, and overall operational efficiency

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Psychology, Business, or a related field.
  • 5–8 years of experience in Learning & Development, Talent Development, Training, Organizational Development, or related disciplines.
  • Experience supporting semiconductor, manufacturing, engineering, or other technical organizations preferred.
  • Experience as a Customer Service Engineer, Application Engineer, Technical Instructor, or similar technical enablement role is a plus.
  • Experience facilitating learning programs and working with learning technologies, LMS platforms, and digital learning tools.
  • Strong project management, stakeholder management, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
