The Impact You Will Make
Grubhub's Learning & Growth team is seeking a Sr. Leadership Development Associate who will design, refine and sustain a range of internal leadership and team development initiatives to support our employees' career and leadership development.
The role will be responsible for, but is not limited to, program design, vendor selection as applicable, content creation and facilitation, enrollment strategy, marketing and communications planning, logistics management, program evaluation and analytics. As a key member of our highly collaborative team, the Sr. Leadership Development Associate will contribute to multiple, concurrently running high-profile programs in our fast-paced environment. .
This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Sr. Manager of Employee Experience & Development.
What You'll Tackle:

  • Partner with HR Business Partners, business leaders, Talent Development, and other key stakeholders to understand organizational needs and determine the best learning solution to meet those needs
  • Develop & facilitate company-wide development programs to nurture a growth culture that drives strategic priorities, high performance culture, employee engagement, and DE&I
  • Facilitate team offsite and assessment debriefs to enhance self awareness and collaboration among and across teams
  • Create and facilitate reinforcement experiences to enhance post graduation of programs
  • Build, curate content, and manage manager resource toolkits supporting manager and their employees at critical moments of the employee lifecycle
  • Lead and evolve Grubhub's manager & director leadership programs & resources
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to advise program design
  • Drive marketing and communications strategy to engage employees and gain leaders' support while monitoring registration/participation
  • Source, engage, and manage external vendor relationships to support new and existing programs
  • Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment between learning initiatives and business objectives
  • Evaluate program success and communicate the results to key partners while using feedback for continuous improvement


What You Bring To the Table

  • 5+ years of experience in learning and development, with significant expertise in leadership development
  • Experience designing, implementing, scaling, and maintaining large-scale development initiatives
  • Proven track record in designing and delivering effective learning programs.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Excellent facilitation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning development tools.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; able to handle multiple priorities in a high-pressure environment
  • Comfortable with ambiguity
  • High quality communication skills, attention to detail and bias for top notch work product
  • Experience leading and collaborating effectively with SMEs, senior leaders, partners, and vendors
  • Self-starter who aims for clarity and alignment among multiple partners
  • Research and analytical skills
  • Creative thinking and problem solving
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Google Workspace
