Job Title : Solutions Architect – Infrastructure, Cloud, Automation & AI Engineering

Job Overview:
The Solutions Architect is a pivotal role responsible for leading the engineering strategies, product developers, and execution of automation solutions in Infrastructure Quality Engineering team. This includes overseeing a team of product developers, infra automation test engineers and AI developers on various hybrid enterprise infrastructure platforms (Azure, AWS, On-prem Data Centers). The role blends technical leadership with hands-on automation expertise to deliver product features and ensure infrastructure reliability, scalability, and performance across development, staging, and production environments.
Key Responsibilities
Lead infrastructure quality engineering programs across enterprise infrastructure, cloud, and platform initiatives.
Own automated infrastructure testing strategy, including planning, scripting, execution, monitoring, reporting, and closure.
Assess change impact, define test coverage, and validate infrastructure deployments, rollbacks, and core system dependencies.
Architect and integrate IaC validation using Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, CI/CD pipelines, and automation frameworks.
Drive quality efficiency through ServiceNow, ITIL practices, automation, standards, documentation, and process optimization.
Partner with Engineering, Operations, DevOps, Security, application teams, and stakeholders to align automation with business goals.
Responsible for defect resolutions resulting from architected capabilities and solutions.
Define KPIs, report outcomes, and develop team capability through mentoring, training, and continuous improvement.
Own and define end-to-end architecture for java based enterprise scalable platforms
Drive cloud transformation strategy and execution.
Design modular, scalable microservices architecture using Java, Spring Boot, and MS SQL
Establish and enforce engineering standards, code/design reviews, and system reliability
Enable AI-driven automation and intelligent platform capabilities
Lead and mentor 20+ engineers across India and US teams
Ensure integration with DevOps and enterprise tools (GitHub, Jenkins, ServiceNow)
Drive execution throughput, platform scalability, and operational excellence
Required Technical Skills:
Proficiency and Hands-on experience in scripting languages - Python, Bash Scripting, Java, Advanced PowerShell, or similar.
Proven expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and relational databases (MS SQL)
Experience in scalable platform engineering and microservices design
Test lifecycle experience in delivering high quality infrastructure changes with minimal impacts to applications (test planning, test scenario build, test execution, defect/issue management and test health metrics and status reporting)
Good understanding of Computer Systems Architecture and Data Center Services and Operations.
Infrastructure Administration, Automation Concepts, Diagnostics and Troubleshooting.
Expertise in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or CloudFormation.
Deep understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, Azure DevOps, etc.).
Familiarity with monitoring/observability tools (Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog) and log aggregation (ELK/EFK stacks).
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and associated infrastructure services.
Solid grasp of networking, database, security, and compliance as they relate to automated infrastructure deployments.
Certifications in cloud architecture or automation (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Terraform Associate) is preferred.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
12+ Years Experience in Infrastructure change testing life cycle/Software Testing Lifecycle
