Job Description
We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for you to take your software engineering career to the next level.
As a Sr. Lead Software Engineer within JPMC, Home Lending - Originations Correspondent Technology, you will work with business and technology leadership to understand the strategies and the impacts to on application(s) we support. You'll join an inspiring and curious team of technologists dedicated to improving the design, analytics, development, coding, testing and application programming that goes into creating high quality software and new products.
You'll be tasked with keeping the team and other key stakeholders up to speed on the progress of what's being developed. Coming in with an understanding of the importance of end-to-end software development-such as Agile frameworks-is key. And best of all, you'll be working with and sharing ideas, information and innovation with our global team of technologists from all over the world as we make strides into the public cloud domain.
Job Responsibilities
* Apply your depth of knowledge and expertise to all aspects of the software development lifecycle
* Partner continuously with your many stakeholders on a daily basis to stay focused on common goals
* Work in a collaborative, trusting, thought-provoking environment-one that encourages diversity of thought and creative solutions that are in the best interests of our customers globally
* Write valuable software and serve as a maker of systems
* Proactively identifies hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture
* Contributes to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies
* Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
* 10 years of relevant industry experience, with 5 years of hands-on technical leadership
* Expertise in at least one technical domain, application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
* Advanced knowledge of architecture and design across all systems
* Strong understanding and experience using configuration management and CI/CD automation practices and tools , AI Jenkins, Gradle, Maven, Git, Ansible, Spinnaker
* Experience in developing cloud and container based solutions such as Kubernetes, Cloud-Foundry, AWS, Docker
* Strong understanding and experience of automated testing at all levels
* Experience using SDLC practices and delivering high quality and robust software products
* Deep understanding of modern software development techniques and practices in multiple programming languages

* Self-starter, self-motivated and adaptable team player
* Fast learning, enjoys solving complex problems and creating simple solutions
* Ability to work with and coach others
* Collaborate with other senior developers across the CIB, building trust and collaborating on solutions
