As a Sr. Lead Infrastructure Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate Sector – Enterprise Technology - Egress, you apply deep knowledge of software, applications, and technical processes within the infrastructure engineering discipline. Continue to evolve your technical and cross-functional knowledge outside of your aligned domain of expertise.
Job responsibilities:
- Client and Stakeholder management including client consultations, communication of expected completion dates and ongoing expectation management
- Contribute to process management and improvement within the team by updating and creating documentation and runbooks in line with engineering standards
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for Proxy issues
- Collaborate with other IT & business teams to align proxy solutions with organizational goals
- Contribute to change management process improvement by building standardized change implementation templates
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Formal training or certification on infrastructure disciplines concepts and 8+ years applied experience
- Hands-on experience in installation, migration and decommission suite of Broadcom (erstwhile Bluecoat) devices including Proxy SG, Secure Web Gateway (ISG), Symantec Content Analysis Systems (CAS), SSL Visibility appliances and Symantec Management Center (SMC).
- Experience with other SaaS based Secure Gateway vendor e.g. Zscaler, Netskope etc
- Ability to build, test and deploy proxy-based security solutions
- Good understanding of network infrastructure, network security concepts and application layer protocols (http/https) and vulnerability mitigation
- Good understanding of REST API and container-based deployment models.
- Understanding of version and revision control practices and procedures.
- Proficient in use of SEIM tools for investigate purposes
- Scripting skills for automation of a Proxy environment and understanding and comfortable working on shell/python scripts and Ansible playbooks.
- Expertise of networking fundamentals including Network topology, VLANs, Routing, Switching, Global/Local Load Balancing and Firewalls.
- Flexible to work off hours and weekends in 24x7 on-call rotation.
