As a Sr Lead DevOps Pipeline Engineer, you will architect and optimize the CI/CD ecosystem that powers our massive containerized infrastructure. You will design automated, secure, and frictionless deployment pathways that enable our developers to ship code rapidly and reliably to our 140+ Kubernetes clusters. Your work directly accelerates Coupa's release velocity while maintaining the highest standards of security and operational excellence.
What You'll Do:
- Architect, build, and maintain highly scalable, secure, and automated CI/CD pipelines tailored for an enterprise Kubernetes ecosystem.
- Drive the adoption of GitOps methodologies (e.g., ArgoCD or Flux) to ensure declarative, automated, and reliable application deployments.
- Optimize pipeline performance and build times, aggressively eliminating bottlenecks and manual intervention steps in the release process.
- Integrate deep security scanning, quality gates, and observability directly into the deployment pipelines.
- Collaborate with Platform and Software Engineering teams to ensure seamless integration between applications and the underlying container infrastructure.
- Mentor engineers on DevOps best practices, CI/CD architecture, and GitOps paradigms.
What You Will Bring to Coupa:
- Extensive experience designing and managing enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) for microservices.
- Deep expertise in GitOps deployment strategies and tooling (ArgoCD or similar) within a Kubernetes environment.
- Proficiency in scripting/development languages (Ideally Typescript and Node JS or Python, Go, Bash) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
- Strong understanding of containerization (Docker, containerd) and Kubernetes deployment manifests (Helm, Kustomize).
- Experience integrating security and compliance checks into automated pipelines (DevSecOps).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to drive architectural consensus across engineering teams.
