Ingredion is looking for a commercially driven sales leader to accelerate growth within our Healthful Solutions portfolio across the U.S. and Canada. In this role, you will play a critical part in strengthening strategic customer partnerships and delivering value‑added solutions aligned with evolving consumer and market needs.
Role SummaryAs Sr. Key Account Manager, Healthful Solutions, US/Canada, you will own and grow strategic customer relationships while driving profitable growth across Ingredion’s Healthful Solutions portfolio, including sugar reduction offerings. You will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, expanding existing accounts, and building a strong, sustainable pipeline.
This role reports to the Director, Sales – Healthful Solutions, US/CAN.
- Execute against customer revenue, volume, and contracting goals for assigned key accounts
- Build and maintain a healthy, differentiated project pipeline aligned with Healthful Solutions strategies
- Develop deep, multi‑level relationships with strategic customers to gain early insight into innovation and growth initiatives
- Drive sales of specialty, value‑added solutions through consultative and insight‑led selling
- Partner cross‑functionally with R&D, Technical Service, Marketing, Product Line Management, and Supply Chain teams
- Lead commercial and technical discussions with customer R&D, innovation, and marketing stakeholders
- Analyze market trends, customer portfolios, and competitive dynamics to anticipate customer needs
- Provide timely market and competitive intelligence to internal teams to support strategic decisions
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Business, Nutrition, Engineering, or a related field
- 8–10+ years of experience in B2B sales or key account management within food ingredients or solutions
- Demonstrated success driving profitable growth with strategic or enterprise‑level customers
- Strong understanding of health‑focused ingredient solutions (sugar reduction experience preferred)
- Experience managing complex projects from concept through commercialization
- Proficiency with CRM tools and sales pipeline management
- Customer‑centric with a strategic, consultative selling approach
- Results‑oriented with a strong growth and ownership mindset
- Comfortable navigating complex commercial and technical conversations
- Collaborative and effective in matrixed, cross‑functional environments

$150,400.00-$200,533.33 AnnualThis pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data and applicable bargaining agreement (if any).
Incentive Compensation:
As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Ingredion Annual Incentive Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus.
