Job Description

Role: BSA - Senior JDE Supply Chain Business Analyst

Job Summary:

Reporting to the appropriate business or IT leader, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and optimizing JD Edwards EnterpriseOne applications across manufacturing, procurement, inventory management, distribution, and supply chain planning.

As part of the HSS Business Solutions JDE E1 Team, the Senior JDE Supply Chain Business Analyst will work directly with business users, process owners, management, and IT/IS teams. This includes managing system configuration, business process changes, functional specifications, testing, user manuals, training documentation, and Level 2 application support.

The successful candidate will also provide business consulting and change leadership while supporting Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne and related integrated applications.

Compensation: $110,000-$130,000

Job Responsibilities

  • Serve as a liaison between the JDE end-user community, Supply Chain teams, and IT teams by defining business problems, documenting business requirements, and developing functional and technical specifications.

  • Act as a subject matter expert for the manufacturing, procurement, inventory management, distribution, and supply chain planning modules within JDE EnterpriseOne.

  • Perform solution design, system configuration, functional testing, troubleshooting, implementation support, and end-user training.

  • Identify opportunities to streamline, standardize, and optimize business processes through improved use of existing system capabilities or system enhancements.

  • Facilitate the development of solutions that combine knowledge of business processes, operational challenges, technology options, and process-improvement techniques.

  • Evaluate solution options and advise stakeholders regarding risks, resource requirements, system priorities, dependencies, and potential impacts on other business processes.

  • Develop, modify, and support web-based reports and automated real-time dashboards.

  • Prepare functional specifications, process documentation, user manuals, training materials, and other supporting documentation.

  • Support data conversion and master data management activities.

  • Define, test, and troubleshoot integrations and data interfaces between JDE EnterpriseOne and third-party systems.

  • Support system integrations and ERP transitions involving non-JDE applications.

  • Support acquisitions, full lifecycle implementations, and other business transformation initiatives.

  • Assist with project management activities by organizing work assignments, establishing deadlines, monitoring progress, and communicating risks or resource constraints.

  • Communicate regularly with stakeholders at all levels of the organization to ensure that business requirements, project updates, and user needs are clearly understood.

  • Build strong relationships with business stakeholders by actively listening to feedback and incorporating it into recommendations and solution requirements.

  • Provide leadership and guidance to Power Users and collaborate effectively with Manufacturing, Procurement, Inventory Management, Distribution, and Supply Chain Planning teams.

  • Facilitate stakeholder discussions and establish consensus among groups with competing priorities or requirements.

  • Manage multiple projects and initiatives concurrently while balancing timelines, business priorities, and resource constraints.

  • Provide Level 2 functional application support and resolve issues affecting multiple systems, applications, or business processes.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

  • Minimum seven years of functional business analysis experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne.

  • Minimum seven years of experience in process design, functional specification development, system configuration, application support, testing, and troubleshooting.

  • Strong functional experience with JDE EnterpriseOne manufacturing and supply chain planning or forecasting modules.

  • Experience with procurement, inventory management, shop floor management, distribution, and related JDE EnterpriseOne modules.

  • Five or more years of experience supporting procurement, inventory management, manufacturing, or shop floor management processes is considered an asset.

  • Experience with JDE EnterpriseOne data conversions and master data management.

  • Experience defining, testing, and troubleshooting interfaces between JDE EnterpriseOne and third-party systems.

  • Experience integrating JDE EnterpriseOne with external applications and supporting system transitions involving non-JDE ERP platforms.

  • Experience supporting acquisitions, full lifecycle ERP implementations, and enterprise-level projects.

  • Previous experience with business process re-engineering, continuous improvement, or organizational change initiatives.

  • Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to translate business needs into clear and detailed requirements and functional specifications.

  • Strong technical knowledge and the ability to explain complex technical concepts in language that can be understood by business stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical, conceptual, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including technical writing, business presentations, and the development of Power User training materials.

  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with end users, technical teams, and all levels of management.

  • Demonstrated competency in project planning, coordination, and delivery.
