Role Summary:
Our Team is seeking a skilled Power Platform & SharePoint Solution Analyst to maintain, enhance, and support business process solutions across Microsoft 365. This role has a strong emphasis on support and maintenance of an existing Power Platform solutions, particularly known as the HUB application, ensuring stability, performance, and timely issue resolution. The role also supports business analysis, documentation, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration activities.
Key Responsibilities:
HUB Application Support & Maintenance
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance existing Power Apps Canvas applications supporting the HUB platform.
- Perform root-cause analysis for user-reported issues including app crashes, data load failures, and Power Fx formula errors.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to SharePoint Online list performance, delegation limits, and large dataset handling.
- Review, debug, and optimize Power Automate cloud flows supporting HUB notifications, approvals, and data movement.
- Partner with business users to reproduce issues, validate fixes, and deploy updates using controlled change practices.
Business Analysis & Delivery
- Analyze business and user needs, document requirements, and translate them into clear system requirement specifications.
- Gather critical information from stakeholder meetings and produce useful reports and documentation.
- Prioritize initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
- Ensure delivered solutions meet documented business needs and functional requirements.
- Manage multiple projects and competing priorities, provide timely status updates, and communicate risks or blockers.
Operational Support & Documentation
- Update and maintain required information in spreadsheets and supporting documentation.
- Perform quality assurance checks to validate data accuracy and solution functionality.
- Document, update, implement, and maintain procedures.
- Document and communicate results of work efforts to stakeholders and management.
- Support successful delivery, enhancement, monitoring of deliverables, and timely project completion.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Work closely with and serve as a liaison between Vendor Management, business stakeholders, Suppliers, and Procurement teams.
- Effectively communicate insights, recommendations, and plans to cross-functional team members and leadership.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical & Functional Skills
- Microsoft Power Apps (Canvas): Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on experience developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Canvas Apps in production environments.
- Power Fx Proficiency: Strong experience writing and debugging formulas for filtering, searching, patching, error handling, and performance optimization.
- SharePoint Online Backend: Advanced working knowledge of SharePoint Online as a Power Apps backend, including large lists, delegation limits, indexing, and performance tuning.
- Power Automate: Experience building, maintaining, and debugging cloud flows for notifications, approvals, and data synchronization.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with particularly strong Excel skills.
Core Skills:
- Strong Excel skills with the ability to update, maintain, and analyze data in spreadsheets.
- Ability to work independently to collate and synthesize data from multiple sources.
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven problem-solving skills, including the ability to perform root-cause analysis and quality assurance checks.
Work Environment & Expectations:
- Contractor will work remotely and follow US hours and holiday schedules.
- Must maintain at least a 4-hour overlap with US Central Time (CDT) business hours.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
- If no degree, candidate must possess 3–5 years of relevant work experience supporting business operations, systems, or technology-enabled solutions specifically related to Power Platform & SharePoint Solution.
