As a Senior IT Architect, you provide strategic technical fellowship for enterprise‑critical platforms, ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, cloud‑native, and aligned with business strategy. You define and govern architecture standards for microservices, APIs, and cloud platforms across AWS and Azure, influencing multiple programs to reduce risk, improve reliability, and accelerate time‑to‑market.
You will assess the technical capabilities of SaaS applications to meet business requirements and develop architecture to integrate them with Honeywell's existing systems. You will provide architectures to integrate existing Honeywell applications to meet a specific business need.
You will collaborate with development teams and provide design oversight during projects. Additionally, the Sr. IT Architect ensures solutions align with the company's strategic goals in both business and IT.

- 5+ years of Proven experience as a AEM Lead Developer or Architect with a strong understanding of Microservice and integration platform.
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise‑grade applications using the latest Java LTS versions (Java 17 / Java 21.
- Build, deploy, and operate cloud‑native microservices using Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Spring Security, designed for scalable deployments across AWS and Azure platforms.
- Design, configure, and manage API proxies and standard policies using Apigee API Management.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs enabling seamless integrations with SAP (S/4HANA, ECC, SAP OData, PI/PO) and Salesforce (SFDC REST and Composite APIs).
- Implement enterprise integration patterns including synchronous/asynchronous messaging, event‑driven architectures, and API‑led connectivity across distributed systems.
- Strong knowledge on handling the application using OAuth 2.0, JWT, Spring Security, and cloud‑native identity and access management solutions such as AWS IAM.
- Design and manage data persistence layers, working with relational databases including MySQL and Amazon DynamoDB, ensuring data consistency, performance, and scalability.
- Build and support CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, enabling automated build, test, and deployment of Java microservices, serverless components, and Apigee artifacts.
- Utilize and manage AWS services such as ECS, Lambda, IAM, DynamoDB, EC2, S3, CloudWatch, and equivalent Azure services, based on solution architecture and deployment strategy.
- Collaborate closely with Enterprise Architects, SAP, Salesforce, Cloud, Security, and Platform teams to ensure alignment with cloud architecture standards, integration governance, and operational best practices.
Participate in design reviews, cloud readiness reviews, code reviews, and API governance forums, contributing to continuous improvement and architectural consistency.
