JD-Sr. Inverter Electrical Engineer
Be part of a team that designs, develops and integrates highly complex and advanced inverter for electrical Cooling system within Garrett Advancing Motion organization. You will participate in the development and certification of product functionality across multiple programs. This will enable you to support new products, processes, standards or operational plans within the organization's business strategies, with a direct impact on business unit/function overall results.

YOU MUST HAVE:
Bachelor or master ’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or Automation Engineering ;
Experience in EV cooling compressor inverter or variable frequency drive system development ,
Key feature must Include :
High voltage AC to DC PFC(power factor correction)circuit design and software algorithm ;
Phase current THD(total harmonic distortion)improvement solutions ;
Pspice circuit , Plecs model and Simulink simulation for new requirement analysis ;
Communication protocol MODBUS and CAN Bus standard with client ;
Power loss control and thermal design to improve whole system efficiency and lifetime ;
Validation Plan and test data analysis ;
Related industry standards and norms .
Experience in power electronics (IGBT/SiC/GaN)/Film capacitor/Gate driver/Isolated Power supply/Filters development ;
In embedded system: Microprocessor Aurix , PMIC, SMPC , analog and digital signals measurement , temp/speed/current/voltage sensors ;
In Motor control : FOC for PSM and SMO for sensorless control of high speed .
Preferred knowledge for DBC data , OBD system and compressor test bench system ;
Experience in EMC design and EOL specification for VFD or inverter ;
WE VALUE:
▪ At least 6+ years’ experience in HV compressor power electronics controller or VFD development;
Demonstrated ability of contributing innovative technologies and applications for products ;
Diverse and global teaming and collaboration , also good English communication .;
Develop and mentor members and junior engineers in both technical issues and in proper behaviors with internal and external customers ;
Familiar with hardware test instrument and measurements .
POSITION ROLES
High voltage compressor inverter power stage hardware development.
Product design upgrade, hardware design spec.
Support HW DFMEA and failure root cause analysis, benchmark activities ;
Model development, Verification & Validation for customer project
