We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior IT Operations Analyst to support the execution and continuous improvement of financial management processes across Research and Preclinical Development IT (R&pD-IT). This role will ensure reliable service delivery, operational stability, and compliance with enterprise policies and regulatory requirements.

The Senior IT Operations Analyst will act as a key liaison between the R&pD-IT team and Finance, Accounting, and Accounts Payable teams so that the source to pay lifecycle is executed and controlled within corporate guidelines. Supporting the quarterly and annual budget planning cycles is a key aspect of the role.
This role requires:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting
5 years of experience in Financial operations
Experience managing a budget of $50 million with dozens of vendors and 100+ purchase orders
Domain Knowledge
Accounting practices and principles
Financial planning for IT Projects
Accounts Payable processes and procedures
General
Strong understanding of accounting practices and the budgeting process.
Detail-oriented with focus on financial compliance
Ability to plan and track at the purchase order line item level building forecasts and tracking actuals as well as creating accruals so the goal of +/- 5% variance is achieve
Supporting managers in the approval of invoices to purchase orders
Communicate detailed financial data up to Vice President level
Support a team of 25+ contributors in addition to Finance, Accounting, and Accounts Payable
