This is an exciting time at Enovix! We are looking for experienced candidates to help support our new lithium-ion battery production facility in Penang, Malaysia for commercialization of our 3D Silicon™ Lithium-ion Rechargeable Battery. 

Job Summary:

As a Senior Industrial Engineer, you will be responsible for analysing and improving existing processes while playing a key role in driving productivity and cost effectiveness across the organization.

You will be identifying and implementing changes to enhance employee, facility and machine performance while maintaining or improving safety, quality and customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate current manufacturing practices and identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage production schedules and coordinate activities to optimize productivity.
  • Enhance the efficiency of each production process.
  • Evaluate employees’ tasks and responsibilities, identifying procedures or tools to improve productivity.
  • Analyse production and operational processes to identify inefficiencies.
  • Design workflows and production schedules for optimal resource utilization.
  • Balance workloads to ensure smooth operations and minimal bottlenecks.
  • Develop and enforce workplace safety protocols and ergonomic practices.
  • Optimize resource allocation materials, labor and machinery for maximum efficiency.
  • Utilizes AutoCAD software to design layout, workflow, and material handling processes.
  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce costs, improve productivity, and enhance overall efficiency.
  • Manage projects related to process improvement, system implementation, and other IE initiatives.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.

Skill and Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years Manufacturing experience
  • Work experience in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering or Operations
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Leadership skills to conduct workshops and drive continuous improvement
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Works effectively on a team or individually
  • AutoCAD experience
  • Proficient with MS Work, Excel and PowerPoint
  • B.S. in Engineering (Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering)

Skills Required

  • 1-3 years manufacturing experience
