SR Human Resources Manager
Job Summary
We are looking for an SR HR Manager to support the post-startup phase of growth at
an operational facility in Cienega de Flores Industrial Park. The HR Manager will be responsible for managing and
directing all HR activities at the plant, ensuring alignment with business
objectives while fostering a positive, compliant, and collaborative work
environment. This role will work closely with plant leadership to drive
performance, employee development, and organizational culture. Additionally,
the SR HR Manager will collaborate with both local and global HR teams, ensuring
that HR practices are transparent, compliant, and aligned with company values.
Education
- Bachelor’s
Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Requirements
- Minimum
of 5 years of Manager-level experience in Human Resources.
- 8+
years of experience in Human Resources roles with progressing
responsibilities.
- Experience
in the manufacturing industry is required.
- Experience
negotiating with unions is essential.
- Professional-level
English proficiency (spoken and written).
Knowledge
- Strong
understanding of Mexican labor laws and union agreements.
- Experience
working in a matrixed environment (collaboration between U.S. and Mexico
teams).
- Familiarity
with HRIS systems, compensation structures, and benefits programs.
- In-depth
knowledge of HR processes including recruitment, performance management,
compensation, employee relations, training, and development.
- Understanding
of employee health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.

- Develop
and execute HR strategies aligned with plant business objectives.
- Partner
with the Plant Manager and leadership team to align human capital
planning with operational needs.
- Employee
Relations
- Lead
employee relations efforts, ensuring open communication between
employees, unions, and leadership.
- Resolve
employee issues and manage conflict resolution in a way that fosters a
positive workplace culture.
- Talent
Management
- Oversee
recruitment and selection processes to ensure the plant attracts and
retains top talent.
- Implement
development programs to build leadership capabilities and career growth
for employees.
- Compliance
& Risk Management
- Ensure
the plant complies with all applicable labor laws, safety regulations,
and union agreements.
- Manage
audits, investigations, and resolve compliance issues as needed.
- Performance
Management & Employee Development
- Drive
performance management processes, ensuring alignment with business goals
and employee development.
- Implement
training and development programs to continuously improve employee skills
and capabilities.
- Collaboration
with U.S. and Mexico Teams
- Work
collaboratively with HR teams in both Mexico and the U.S. to align
policies and practices.
- Act
as a liaison between the local team and regional/global HR leadership.
