This position reports to the HR Manager and is part of the Human Resources team located in Tijuana and will be an on-site role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
1. Advise and act as a strategic partner to leaders and employees, influencing key talent and organizational decisions through the consistent application of HR policies, employee experience initiatives, and organizational compliance.
2. Design and drive Human Resources initiatives aligned with site priorities, translating business strategy into actions that enhance culture, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness.
3. Lead the end-to-end talent management process (performance management, development, succession planning, and organizational reviews), identifying risks and opportunities to strengthen organizational capabilities and ensure business continuity.
4. Analyze and participate in compensation programs (salary surveys, benchmarking, and job evaluations), providing recommendations that support competitive and equitable decisions aligned with market trends and organizational strategy.
5. Proactively manage employee relations, performance, and organizational climate, anticipating risks and implementing sustainable solutions that strengthen culture and employee engagement.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in generalist Human Resources roles within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of Mexican labor legislation, including the Federal Labor Law, Social Security regulations, and related compliance requirements.
- Ability to handle sensitive matters with objectivity, empathy, and confidentiality.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Advanced English proficiency.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
- U.S. Tourist travel visa preferred.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Experience using TRESS and Workday systems.
- Knowledge of manufacturing compliance standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and CTPAT.
