At Echo Global Logistics, we’re building an HR technology function that helps our business move faster and make better decisions. We’re looking for a Senior Workday HRIS Analyst who loves configuring Workday business processes, building reports and dashboards, and turning HR data into insight. You’ll partner across HR, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, and Finance to advance a scalable, data-driven HR technology environment.

What you’ll do 

  • Configure and maintain Workday business processes, security, and notifications across Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Absence, and Talent. 

  • Build and maintain advanced reports, matrix reports, calculated fields, and dashboards that inform HR and business decision-making. 

  • Partner with HR, Total Rewards, and Talent Acquisition stakeholders to translate business needs into Workday configuration. 

  • Support annual cyclical processes: Open Enrollment, Merit and Compensation cycles, and Performance Management within Workday. 

  • Strengthen data integrity through audits, mass data loads, and security role administration. 

  • Identify manual or inefficient processes and recommend improvements that increase efficiency and accuracy. 

What we’re looking for 

  • 5+ years configuring and supporting Workday across Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Absence, and Talent. 

  • Demonstrated experience building advanced and matrix reports, calculated fields, and dashboards. 

  • Strong understanding of HR processes, HR data, and Workday best practices. 

  • Strong communication and partnership skills; able to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders. 

  • Workday Pro certification(s) a plus.

Compensation

$85,042.00-123,650.00 per year

This role is eligible for a bonus that is based on a combination of personal and business performance.

Skills Required

  • 3+ years of experience in Workday HCM
  • Experience building reports, dashboards, and calculated fields in Workday
  • Understanding of HR data, HR processes, and HR system best practices
  • Experience troubleshooting issues, participating in testing, and improving processes
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn data into useful business insight
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication and partnership skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
