Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Recruiting
• Manage full-cycle recruiting for technical and non-technical positions.
• Partner with hiring managers to develop job descriptions and hiring strategies.
• Conduct candidate screening, interviews, and offer administration.
• Coordinate onboarding and new hire orientation programs.
• Support internship and university recruiting initiatives.
Employee Relations & HR Operations
• Serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers.
• Assist with employee relations matters and workplace investigations.
• Support performance management, coaching, and employee development programs.
• Maintain employee records and HRIS data integrity.
• Prepare HR reports, metrics, and workforce analytics.
Compliance & Employment Law
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations.
• Assist with employee handbook updates and policy implementation.
• Support internal audits and compliance reviews.
• Maintain I-9, E-Verify, and employment documentation requirements.
• Partner with legal counsel on employment-related matters when needed.
Compensation, Benefits & Immigration
• Support compensation review cycles and salary benchmarking.
• Administer employee benefit programs and leave management.
• Coordinate immigration matters including H-1B, TN, CPT, OPT, and permanent residency processes.
• Assist with equity administration and employee stock option communications.
HR Programs & Special Projects
• Support employee engagement initiatives and company events.
• Assist with organizational development and succession planning efforts.
• Participate in HR system implementations and process improvements.
Qualifications
Required
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive HR Generalist experience.
• Strong knowledge of California employment law and HR compliance.
• Experience supporting recruiting and employee relations.
• Familiarity with HRIS, ATS, payroll, and benefits administration.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Preferred
• Experience in semiconductor, technology, AI, or startup environments.
• Experience supporting immigration and global workforce programs.
• Knowledge of compensation, equity programs, and stock option administration.
• PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification.
• Experience with ADP, ATS platforms, and HR analytics tools.
Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000 / year
